The hotel was excellent. Room service the most efficient we have experienced anywhere. Beautiful room on the higher floor with great views over the city, if your considering it,just book it you won't be disappointed. Loved our stay, will book again without doubt.Locacion it's so good, because it's in the center ofthe city. Near by where are the bicycle rent... More

I give it a good score not because it's luxurious but it's next to everything and it has all you need; a bed and a bathroom. My boyfriend and I walk around all days so we basically just sleep in the room and for that this hotel is perfect. The reason i think it gets poor reviews is cause people... More

I booked the Santa Marta hotel for a weekend break away with my mum and having read a number of new reviews after booking I was really dreading my hotel stay...I was however pleasantly surprised...although the rooms were tiny they were clean and did the job. Our room was cleaned each day and the sheets and towels were also changed... More

Everything REALLY dirty, bad smelling, basically really disgusting. Tried to obtain refund as one of our party suffers form a medical problem and was unable to stay in such inhumane conditons but the Gargallo Group customer service stinks as much as their rooms. Don't stay here, it'll ruin your stay and cost you money. There are many other nice cheap... More

5 of us stayed for 3 nights in mid March for the game against Barcelona in champions league, the rooms are tiny to say the least but they were clean (ish) bathrooms tiny and our room had the previous occupants hair still in there. Shower had plenty of hot water and all we wanted was somewhere to sleep and get... More

This is great value for money, you get what you pay for here, basic room, clean, bit dusty round the edges - skirting boards behind the beds, bit of a sewage smell in the bathroom from time to time, other than that it was fine. Beds were changed. Soap and shampoo freebies. The bath was tiny, not full size. We stayed... More

I was a lone traveller. The Rooms were cramped. Cleanliness was an issue as bath towells were stinking which I also noticed in hotels at other European cities. The hotel do not have wi fi facility and wi-fi at lobby is expensive. Location seems good at Barcelonata. Walk across the street would be towards Picasso museum. Breakfast option for vegetarians... This is a no frills hotel, but was great for my purpose. Very central, walking distance to lots of interesting places. Comfortable rooms, clean. Quiet road. As a woman travelling alone I felt safe and had a relaxing and pleasant stay. Would definitely go back. Best thing - the location.

Me and my friend arrived at the hotel at mid night and when we checked in, the hotel staff informed us elevator was not working and we had to carry our luggage to 3rd floor, While we were walking up the stairs, we could see the paint on the wall was peeled off. And when we tried to access our... More
