We booked this hotel as an overnight stop at the end of our cruise to give us a little extra time in Barcelona. We disembarked the ship at around 9am and was at the Hotel Lleo before 10am. No hassle at Reception. Offered to store our luggage - even offered us somewhere to freshen up & change if we needed!... More

We stayed here in November 2014, Barcelona was our first stop on a trip that included Lisbon, the Algarve and Paris. The hotel is near the Placa Cateluna (you can take a bus from the airport to the Placa to save money), the hotel is only a couple of blocks away. The Ramblas is also very close to the hotel,... i was fortunate enough to have stayed in one of their new refurbished rooms- clean with all mod-cons you could ask from a 3 star hotel. Its location is just a few minutes walk from all the interesting places in Barcelona. Staff were Fabulous- helpful and cheerful- Marti and Patricia are gems of the hotel. I will definitely recommend this... More

We thought the hotel was good value for 3 star accommodation. The room and en suite were clean, bright and comfortable. The location was very convenient being close to the Placa Catalunya with metro, rail and bus services to all parts of Barcelona. We had breakfast at the hotel on our last morning and it was expensive. There are plenty... More

The hotel is located in a great place. Clean rooms with a fairly good breakfast. Thr roof tereace has a small pool and a good view. Price quality comparison is way above average for a room of this caliber. The beds are comfortable and have tilt function, which is cool for resting.

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
