Arriving at BCN we took the A2 Bus (approx 7euros return) to Placa Cataluyna and the Lleo was an easy 10 min walk. We had a spacious triple room at the back of the hotel on the 2nd floor which would have been perfect if not for the noisy neighbours. Breakfast was OK, although the hot items were warm at... More

Excellent hotel great staff, very helpful. Rooms nice and big very clean and comfortable breakfast is great with plenty to choose from. the location right on top of the Placa de Catalunya which is right on top of Las Ramblas. Come out of the hotel turn left and walk for about 20mins and reach the Placa de Espanya which leads... More

The location of the hotel is superb, only 200 meters from Placa Catalunya, which is the center of city. The room is a bit small, but this is what you get in all 3 & 4 stars hotels in city center. The room is clean and comfort, bathroom is quite big and very nice. Shower is great! Buffet Breakfast is... More

Stayed at Hotel Lleo for 5 nights. Room great, lovely bathroom and really comfortable beds. We had room 207 which overlooks the main street exactly as requested. Light sleepers might be put off by noise in corridors from other residents, which doesn't bother me (although I wish people would show some consideration to other hotel users when returning to their... Big bedroom, comfortable bed, delicious breakfast (I've never seen free wine in a hotel, especially for breakfast... well, not exactly my kind of breakfast, but some could like it :D ). Excellent staff, excellent location -5 minutes walk from Placa de Catalunya. I guess the rooftop swimming pool is cool as well... unfortunately, I was there on February, so I... More

Just got back from a lovely weekend in Barcelona, had a refurbished room (502) which was lovely, the only fault was there was no tea/ coffee mailing facilities in the room, this small added extra would make all the difference to the comfort of your stay, but saying that I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The electric beds... More

We stayed as a party of 5. We had two rooms on the 2nd floor and a room on the 4th. The second floor rooms were refurbished, clean with great bathrooms. The fourth floor room was a little more dated but still clean and functional. The location is excellent, with easy access to metro/bus routes. The rooftop terrace was fab... More

We stayed four nights at Hotel Lleo in March. The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the top of La Rambla and Placa Catalunya, where the Aerobus from the airport stops. Our room was stylishly modern, the beds were comfortable and it was quietly located at the rear of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful.... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
