We booked this hotel based on Trip Advisor recommendations and happy we did. We had a wonderful deal which included a good breakfast buffet. Staff was very accommodating. There is not enough I can say about the location. Perfectly situated between two main transportation hubs and close to La Ramblas. Was two doors down from a hotel were fellow travelers... More

I recently spent four nights at this hotel, 2 nights either side of a cruise. I chose it after reading reviews on Trip Advisor and was pleased to read that it is also recommended by Rick Steves travel guide of Barcelona. We arrived in the city by the airport bus which ends its journey at Placa Catalunya, about 10 minutes... More

Staff are so friendly. Breakfast includes a wide variety and very delicious. Very Clean place. Location is great. It is in the center of the city and just a 3 minutes walk to Las Ramblas. I surely recommend it and will surely reserve there any time I'm passing to Barcelona.

This hotel is in walking distance of the beach and Gaudi's unfinished cathedral. The room was fit for our purpose as a base. The whirlpool bath was welcome after a day's walking round the city. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. Free wifi meant being able to access the Internet without incurring charges. The only downside was the rooftop pool which... More

Very nice Barcelona-hotel with good location (300 m to Plaza Catalonia), clean rooms, wifi good, breakfast with a great selection of food - and on the top floor a nice and quiet sun-terrace with free sunbeds and a smaal pool (depth 0,9). Really enjoyed this hotel, and I have stayed at several hotels in Barcelona. I will definitive stay here... More

Loved staying at this hotel, Nice rooms and you could bring cup of tea back to your room from cafe. Had a fridge and nice bathroom. Really good location to shops, restaurants and cafes. Supermarket and Subway across the road

So surprised by this hotel. Was originally concerned with glossy photos and reasonable pricing. We had room 404. Very large renovated room with two twin beds (adjustable!) pushed together to make a king. Large screen tv, fridge and more then needed closet space also with shelves. Beautiful bathroom, downside bathroom door was frosted glass so light on in bathroom lit... More

This hotel is only a few hundred yards from the Ramblas and is right in the heart of the city. Transport links are practically beside the front door as you only had to walk to Place Catalunya in order to get the airport bus.

Really pleased we picked this hotel for the location alone - midway between Pl de Catalunya and Universitat it was ideal for transport links both metro and bus and a short walk for the aerobus. Stayed in room 106 - very clean and comfortable, away from the main road and with a private enclosed balcony type area. Could hear pipes... More

As most visitors indicate excellent location. During our stay we found the hotel staff to be very helpful, friendly and efficient, we had a modern room overlooking the front, excellent standard in room and hotel in general we did not experience any noise above normal during our stay. Breakfast was plentiful, as always different standards for different people. Yes we... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
