It was the first time I paid more than 130 euros/night for a room without shampoo! Anyway it was the smaller problem: Everything was a chaos: shower broken, smoking room, really disgusting carpet no less than 30 years old, broken lock....

This hotel is right in the center of Barcelona walking distance to all the near by sites an streets. The rooms are less than average and were not very clean(did not look like the photos on the website). The paint in the bathroom was cracked an flaking. The fridge was filthy. Staff were friendly but poor English. Breckfast was continental style... More

We stayed here on a 4 night break to Barcelona. The location was the main reason for chosing this hotel as everywhere is well within walking distance. We were pleased with the reception and all the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean with small balcony overlooking the street. It was quite noisy from traffic, but... One of the best things about this hotel, is without doubt its location. Right in the very heart of Barcelona. The hotel is a minutes walk away from a central bus station and is within walking distance of all the major attractions of Barcelona, including the famous La Rambles. Me and my now wife stayed here back in 2013, and... More

The hotel is located just a few minutes walk from Placa De Catalunya and La Rambla. It's really easy to arrive there from the airport - just take the Aerobus and in 45 minutes you're there. Most of the major attractions are in a walking distance from the hotel, so moving around is really easy. In addition, there's lot of... More

+ The room was very comfortable. Love the adjustable beds. Very clean rooms. Free safety deposit box. Location is perfect for everything - airport bus, metro, buses, Ramblas, bars, restaurants and shopping are all within easy walking distance. - WiFi was a touch inconsistent. We didn't like the (almost) see-through doors on the bathroom.

Stayed here for 2 nights in Jan 2015 and would definitely recommend this hotel. It's in a great location right near La Ramblas and right near a metro station. Would advise people to use the metro as you can get everywhere on it and was very easy to use. We bought a ticket for 10 euros each that gives you... More

The hotel is in a good location just off the Las Ramblas, plenty of shops and bars nearby, the aerobus from the airport stops about 200 meters from the hotel and the return bus is about the same distance away at the top of Las Ramblas. I booked five rooms and I was disappointed that ours and another couples room... More

The hotel was clean but room smelled musty safe didn't work shower complicated and room needed painting. Location good but that's best thing I can say. Breakfast was a league selection but the hot items were cold you can find something to fill up on but it wasn't a great stay. The room next door had a family in that... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
