Stayed for 3 nights with a friend for a weekend break. The hotel reception staff were exceptionally polite and helpful. Breakfast wasn't exciting but was adequate. The rooms are on the small side but very clean and the beds (we had a twin room) were very comfortable. Location was a little far out but the metro is close by and... More

The hotel is located on a busy street in the Eixample neighborhood, which helped give us an idea of how the locals live. The front desk staff were friendly, funny and very knowledgable. They gave us some very good recommendations for places to go for dinner. The public areas of the hotel were well-maintained. Our rooms were very comfortable. The... More

We stayed at Hotel Europark during the Easter holidays and really enjoyed our 3 night stay. We arrived at the hotel before check-in time but they had already prepared our room and so we were able to go straight up. The room was a very good size and we were lucky enough to be on the 8th floor where the... More

Hotel was extremely clean, accommodating and a great place to stay. Excellent and most helpful staff. Suggestions for restaurants, making reservations, sights to book online for easy access as well as arranging transportation, all done with the most pleasant manner! A real find!

This is a great choice for exploring Barcelona: good location in Eixample, the metro is a block and a half away (Girona), easy walking distance to Passeig de Gracia, Gaudi sights and some outstanding restaurants. The staff is friendly and helpful, the room is relatively spacious (# 408) and quiet and they serve a very good breakfast. The one small... More

The staff was very accommodating The breakfast was fantastic The rooms were clean A little off the beaten path, but perfect For neighborhood ambience, we walked everywhere And always felt safe. We took the hop on and off Bus for sights that we wanted to see and that was a Perfect way to see the city

We loved the black and white décor of this room. It was a rather small room and had less storage than we would have liked but it was modern and cheery. It had a little balcony but unfortunately the weather was cold so we didn't use it much. The hotel was in a great location.

We didn't arrive Barcelona till later in the evening. We had taken the train from Paris (great fun thing to do .... scenery is beautiful!), and when we arrived our room was ready and the front desk was very accommodating. We had a high floor and small balcony. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The reservation I had gotten... More

On my first vacation/holiday trip to Barcelona, I wasn't sure where to stay. I wanted something clean, affordable and convenient to the sightseeing I wanted to do. This hotel sounded perfect and did not disappoint! It was near the Metro so we were a few stops from anywhere and the Barcelona Metro was safe and easy to navigate. It was... More

Read good things about this hotel before booking and all of that came to fruition. It's about a 10 minute walk from the main shopping district and I was told that it's easily walkable to the Sagrada Familia though we never tried. We had a wonderful stay, the concierge were more than willing to help out on where to go... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
