We stayed at the hotel Turin which was ideally located just off Las Ramblas. We stayed with friends and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Barcelona. The rooms were very clean with fresh towels daily, plenty of wardrobe space, a free safe and great shower with hot water always. There was a lovely outside sitting area where we met... More

For the price of this hotel the standard and quality of the room was below par. Very disappointed with the room. However, it was on the ramblas and the breakfast was ok and staff very friendly. A best western offers better quality and cleaner rooms for way less than this.

Not far from Catalunya and Liceu Metro station, we chose Turin as it's not far from Aeroport bus 1 station and from information from Trip advisor reviews, the staff at the front was attentive, waiting us in the evening after we arrived late from connecting flight from Helsinki, she waited for us! The check-in period was very fast as we... More

Hotel Turin is ideally located for Las Ramblas. The rooms are modern, spacious and very clean. The staff of the hotel are all very pleasant and spoke whenever we passed reception, this included the night porter who always asked how we were and made us feel welcome. In addition, the breakfast selection is fantastic, there are all kinds of options... More

Stayed at the hotel with friends for a weekend break. Hotel is spotlessly clean, fantastic facilities and very helpful staff. We stayed in a room with four single beds - I'd emailed the hotel prior to arrival requesting this - got an email back really quickly advising is wasn't a problem at all. The room had plenty of space, lots... More

Our arrival was very easy and the receptionist was lovely. The rooms were very clean and got tidied every day. The only downside was the fact that our 2 rooms were on the street side of hotel and thus the noise level prevented me from getting a good and full nights sleep. I am someone who has a very light... This is a real gem of a hotel literally just a minute's walk from Las Ramblas. Exceptionally clean throughout - brilliant bathroom with walk-in shower and never-ending supply of hot water. Sheets & towels changed daily. Heating system very user friendly. Breakfast selections were very good with various choices of fresh fruit and yogurt, cereals, cold meats and cheeses, fresh... More

In few words, I would definitely go back to this hotel. Amazing location off Las Ramblas, but in a quiet area. 5mn walk to Plaza Catalunya. Great breakfast, was quite impressed. Clean hotel and rooms. Good service, friendly staff. Not the fanciest hotel, but for the location, breakfast, cleanliness of the room, I definitely recommend!! Couldn't ask for more.

The hotel is near La Rambla, but very silent. Great breakfast with fresh fruits and vegetables, and it was . Our room was quite small, but we had a large terrace. The staff was very kind and helpful. The hotel was very clean. The price-quality ratio was excellent. If we go to Barcelona again, we''ll use this hotel again.

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
