Came here for my 40th birthday with my wife and was greeted with a complimentary glass of Prosecco and very friendly, helpful staff. Room was modern, clean and spacious. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Great location, decent breakfast and excellent staff.

I stayed for three nights in September 2014. My room was spacious and very clean compared to other European hotels I had stayed in. Good sized clean bathroom also. The location was perfect for all the trips with great shopping close by. Close also for the Old City area and good restaurants.

Great welcome from the staff with a glass of cava. Nice touch. Our room (105) on the first floor was spacious - comfy beds and a very clean bathroom etc. As it's pretty central, and Barcelona is buzzy, you have to expect some noise at night...you might be in bed, but some are still out enjoying themselves! Breakfast may be... More

Just returned from a 2 night stay. Hotel location was perfect, literally minutes from La Rambla and a few bars near by including the Shamrock. Room size was ideal, I would actually say pretty spacious after some City hotels I have stayed in. The room was clean and attended to daily with fresh towels and linen. We even had a... More

We stayed in the hotel Gravina for 2 nights during the beginning of January 2015. We had booked the room on booking.com and even though we knew that the room was an economy, nothing could have prepared us for how small it really was. We could not even open our suitcases in the room. We had to walk around the... More

Very Clean Hotel walking distance from the Top of La Ramlas and Placa Catallunia. Very reasonable, and you get what you pay for. It was great for a late arrival to Barcelona and early rise the next morning.

The train station is within a 20 minute walk which takes you to Sitges where we had the most amazing day, beautiful must visit! Easy walking... More

Nice hotel in convenient location. The hotel is within walking distance of Ramblas and a host of streets which have an abundance of restaurants. Room wall far too hot until staff explained that the a/c did not cool in winter only heat. By turning it off it was fine although a little stuffy could however open the window. Room was... More

Stayed 13th-16th Dec room 424.The room was comfortable and a good size. Breakfast selection was good. The location would be hard to beat with so much to do in easy walking distance. But the service was exceptional delivered by friendly and helpful staff which really made the visit so enjoyable. Fantastic jazz bar called Milano 10 minutes walk from hotel.

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
