Just returned from a 6 day trip to Barcelona. We stayed at the Hotel Barcelona Roger de Lluria. What a wonderful hotel! The location was great, within walking distance to many historic spots and close to the Metro as well. Our room was lovely, well appointed and comfortable. The staff was superb, making suggestions of where to go and readily... More

The hotel is located in the heart of Barcelona. The rooms are updated and very clean. The front desk was very helpful in planning our sightseeing. The price of the room included a good breakfast to start your day we can say we are very happy with our choice. I did not see any children, this is a good place... More

Ideally location 2 blocks from Rambla, the main tourist attraction of Barcelona. Enough eating options and convenience stores nearby. Close to shopping malls and 20 minutes walk to the port and beach. Upgraded to bigger room. The big room size was good but got a corner room with very small window. Very helpful staff and good breakfast. Hotel has only... More

The hotel is very central and I was able to walk to any of the sights in the city. Staff are helpful.Breakfast was very good, well presented and a wide range of choices. The breakfast room was spacious and well organised. The bathroom was spacious and had everything one would expect from a hotel of this quality. Unfortunately my "queen"... More

Stayed here for a solo vacation during high tourist season... it's a bit of a walk to some of the popular areas, but that might be a good thing to reduce foot traffic and crowds. I was surprised the rooms were as big as they were for a small European hotel--staff was very friendly. I enjoyed my stay.

My daughter and I came here for a short break before Easter. The hotel surpassed expectations with a spacious room, beautiful and clean, immaculate bathroom with toiletries. We felt really spoilt by the choice of breakfasts, lovely fruit, cooked bacon etc and cake. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly, but not too familiar so congratulations to... We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in March having booked it as part of a flight and hotel package with BA. The hotel is in a good location; about 6 or 7 minutes walk from Placa de Catalunya where the aerobus arrives form the airport, or 3 or 4 minutes walk from the Urquinaona metro which is one... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
