5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

As mentioned by many reviewers already, excellent location. Our family of 4 stayed in the 2 bedrooms which is comfortable and clean. Well provided room makes everything very convenient. Very helpful staff have given good information, execllent recommendation for a tapas restaurant, helped to print some tickets. Nothing more I can asked for.

Just spent 2 nights here and was a lovely comfortable stay. Perfect location, walking distance to most places. The rooms are very nice and the beds comfortable. The lady on reception recommended Some very nice bars for the evening And this actually made our holiday as they were away from the main drag. Would highly recommend this guest house and... More

It was like our house. The staff was very helpful. Kitchen was sweet and being able to use the refigarator was useful. There is a nice balcony to sit and relax, or take a book from the library in the main room, and make yourself a coffee. basic breakfast but enough. Our room was comfortable. Double windows prevent any street... More

We stayed here both on our way to walk the Camino de Santiago and on our return six weeks later. We couldn't have asked for more comfortable friendly accommodation in the heart of Barcelona. Our first room was small but clean and the bathrooms close at hand down the hall. Our second room was much more spacious with its own... More

Was there with a friend in October 2014 What we liked: Most everything. The accommodations were very clean, and quiet. The location was superb. Would definitely stay there again, Very useful tips and info for our stay from the staff. As a hostel they don't change linen and towels every day. However, we stayed a longer time than their average... More

What a nice place to stay for a long weekend in Barcelona. The best things about stay: great central location (still rather quiet) and super friendly staff. Our 3 bedroom appartment in 4th floor had all we needed. It was cosy and spacious. Not very fancy and super clean but met well our expectations. Location close to Casa Battlo, big... More

Casa Consell was fabulous. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment on the street side. Stewart and Fransicso and the rest of the staff were most helpful. A big thank you to Fransico for looking after my phone, which I left behind when we went to Sitges for 4 days. Clean, comfortable, close to everything including public transport. Even though... Stayed for 2 nights at Casa Consell and can't recommend it highly enough. The staff are hugely informative and extremely helpful and were very kind in sorting out a room swap, when family joined us, so we could all stay together. The room was comfortable and the shared bathrooms are close to each room. The location is perfect to explore... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
