I was in Operaramblas this week. I lived in the new room. I don't know how good are older one but my room was very nice. Ferniture are very good, there is a lot of space - big bathroom and big room with the table and chair and wardrobe. It is very clean place, our room was cleaning every day.... More

Very good location in the Barcelona city center. Spacious room and very quiet. You can watch people walking on the street and feel the vibrancy of Barcelona just by looking out. Besides, the receptionist is friendly and cares about guest safety very much.

This hotel worked perfectly for me. As I was traveling alone, I was concerned but need not have been. The hotel is just off the Ramblas, I was able to walk with my bag from the ship, and I had an en-suite room, air conditioning, the room was cleaned daily and there was a very friendly guy on reception who... My wife and I returned to Barcelona with reservations here, but no prior experience in staying at Operaramblas. The low price made me a little uneasy. It shouldn't have. This hotel/hostal offers rooms that are better than a lot of three star hotels. Try to reserve a newly remodeled room, though the ones that are not yet remodeled are fine.... More

I was very happy when we found the hotel and saw where it was located I thought we would be further from the main street than we were! It was a great location and the rooms weren't too bad. Some of my family thought the beds were a little hard and did hear some street noise during the night but... More

Budget-hotel, placed next to La Ramblas street, so you can also enjoy the nightlife by just strolling around. Rooms clean. Staff very helpful. Placed very close to the Metro a walkable distance of 2 minutes.Free wi-fi.Stayed for three nights but as per their policy to save water they don't change bedsheets daily & change towels in two days, didn't like... Easy to find, in the middle of everything, get a back room, air con , elevator, good staff, cheap beds n bedding, tile floors with dust on them, cheap furniture. Overall ok! Ok for budget too! Clean bathroom.

The location is excellent! It is less than a block from the busy main strip La Rambla. I had a private single room with a bathroom. The room was newly renovated. There were dual showerheads in the shower. Everything was new! I was really impressed!

I asked for a "quiet room" in the booking.com comments and got it. We were separated from reception by a solid door and a small corridor. It was two minutes walk to La Ramblas and so easy to find with the Gran Teatre del Liceu on the street corner. I had a humble single bed room that was cheap by... More

The location is perfect, it close La Ramblas street, just a minute away from Liceu metro station, you just need walk a few minutes and you can explore the old city of Barcelona and Guell Palace. The room has a thin wall so you can hear people knocked the door, open the door and even your neighbour murmuring talk. Our... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
