Just returned from a 4night stay in the rialto hotel. While the hotel was very clean and central to Las Rambles ,Port Vell and the beach it was very basic with a small room with no fridge for keeping drinks cool. The reception staff were not very pleasant but ok. I would recomend this hotel for a short break but there are... More

We stayed at this hotel while we were at the Formula one last week, the hotel is central for restaurants and bars, a ten minute walk from the underground and very reasonable on price, the hotel is very clean and fine for a long weekend away.

We booked a room for our wedding anniversary and received a room which had an overpowering sewage smell in the bathroom and drifting into the bedroom. We complained to reception who said they would sort the problem but this did not improve. After three days of worsening odour we asked for a new room, initially the manager Lluisa was unsympathetic... More

First of all thank you for your time to write your impressions. Sorry for not having fulfilled their expectations. Sometimes in Barcelona they smell the sewers of the city up to the buildings of the old town, it is something that we cannot control, but we try to please customers and change room, that by what I could find out... We stayed at Rialto just before our cruise & a few days after in April 2015. Very close to a few stations and Aerobus pick up points - Bus from airport. Be prepared for some noise as the City literally does not sleep especially over the weekend & the hotel is situated between lots of restuarants , clubs etc. Try... More

Hotel Rialto is located very close to Las Ramblas. The room was clean and the bathroom was ok. The only problem was the noise from the street. People coming from bars shouted every night. Slow wi-fi in our room.

Stayed here over the weekend 12th/13th April 2015 hotel is in a great spot not far from Ramblas, was pretty shocked at how basic, never stayed in a room with no window!!! Fantastic hotel, great location, very clean would recommend end to any city traveller. The bathrooms are to a high standard and the showers are refreshing after a day sight seeing. The location is great to the port, to the landmarks and lovely to stroll down las ramblas or hop on the subway to the football ground.

I went to Barcelona for 4 days with my Mum. Barcelona was wonderful , however the hotel was a disappointment. The room we were given initially was unacceptable in that it smelt fusty. To their credit, we were transferred to another room within 15 minutes though they couldn't give us twin beds so we had to share a double bed.... More
