This was back last December; festival season, lots of tourists and locals roaming in the street until late night - so what, that's what you expect in Barri Gotico in Bcn. First thing I did after we got the room was to open the window and take in the sounds. The hotel staff was friendly and willing to help without... More

Just returned from a 5 day visit to Barcelona where we stayed in the Rialto hotel. While the hotel was clean and very central to all the sights and the famous Las Rambles was just a short walk away and the beach and Port Vell were just about 20 min walk away we found the hotel was very noisey and... Clean and no problems exept from the room was bought with free wifi, but we had to pay. No view from the window and some noisy boys living in the room beside us. The bed was two single beds with weels so they could easyli be pushed together but wouldnt stay close. No noise from the street in our room.... More

Stayed here for 2 nights in July. Location is great as it is right in the heart of the Gothic quarter. The room itself was ridiculously small. No mini fridge although it was promised. I booked the hotel based on location and that it had free wifi which it did not. I was not happy that I had to pay... More

Spent almost a week there and the rooms were comfortable and the hotel was situated in a great location. Breakfast was ok but the dinner was a total disappointment and overpriced for what was on offer. Had issues with air con. And no English channels on TV. This hotel would be better if management looked at accommodating for tourists that... More

Visited this hotel for 2 nights prior to boarding a cruise . Location is great , it is in the Gothic Quarter . Room allocated on arrival was cell like and very small with a very high window ( which you would have to climbed on the dressing table to even look out ) Went back down to reception and... More

This hotel is well located in the heart of the gothic region of Barcelona. Very basic accommodation - bed, shower, air con, TV (all Spanish stations). Rooms are small and the decor is old. Hotel staff were nice & helpful but could do with some brushing up on professional appearance and customer service. Breakfast had a wide selection of food... More

we have just returned from the above and I was surprised how much the hotel had slipped in standards from our last visit four years ago. The good points first, location is excellent just off the Rambles the maids were very helpful as well as making the rooms clean. Now for my rant the girl working in the bar needs... More

We had the misfortune of staying at this hotel twice! Because we had pre-booked and paid for two separate periods (2 nights before a cruise departing from Barcelona, and then for another night after our cruise) we were subjected to this terrible hotel twice in a 10-day period. Had we not pre-paid, we most certainly would not have returned to... More
