Excellent location in the heart of the Gothic Quarter and a quick walk to Las Ramblas. The continental breakfast was well worth the money, with a well-stocked selection and nice service. Really friendly and helpful front desk staff as well, with nice little touches like a glass of cava upon arrival and coffee/tea available in the little bar area. I... More

This little hotel was recommended to us by Spanish friends and is in a fantastic location in Barcelona's old quarter. It's close to the cathedral and Las Ramblas, and walking distance to La Sagrada Familia (45 minutes or so). The room is compact but very comfortable, with a nice high ceiling. Staff were pleasant and the price very reasonable for... More

Just got back after three nights at this wonderful little hotel. It's in a great location in the Gothic quarter close to the Cathedral and lots of tapas bars. Great rooms, clean tidy and well kept. Breakfast was great too with a good choice of hot and cold. Staff are friendly and make some good restaurant recommendations. We had a... More

I definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Barcelona on a short break. The location is perfect.. Only a short walk to Las Rambla yet in a quieter pedestrianised area surrounded by shops and tapas bars. Placa de Catalunya is a five minute walk where all the buses start. The staff at the hotel are very helpful, the breakfasts are great... More

My partner and I travelled to Barcelona for 3 days and stayed in this hotel to celebrate both our birthdays. We were greeted warmly and offered a glass of cava and with me being a H10 club member we were also given some chocolates and a bottle of cava. Room Lovely room not massive, two single beds pushed together, which... More

My girlfriend and I have just returned from a four night break at the H10 Raco del Pi in Barcelona. The hotel is located in the Gothic area not far from the Ramblas, so is in a fantastic location. We got a shuttle transfer from the Airport which dropped us of at the Placa Catalunya which was a 5 min... More

Got a very good rate on this room which contributed a lot to why we loved our stay here. I will say the room needed a lick of paint (we were in room 305, window looking out to another building and alley way) and it was a small room but we were only there in the early morning and early... More

After spending time researching on Trip Advisor I choose this hotel & we are so pleased we did. It is literally seconds from La Rambla. It's good value for money, I was warned that they would offer an upgrade on arrival, (€22per night), which was fine, as we wanted that anyway, but the website I booked on wouldn't give us... More

Staying in Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighborhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
