Hotel is near to the Metro station Paral-lel, just 100 to 150 meters walk. To get there you can go with the aerobus from the airport to the Plaza Espanya and take the metro from there, or go to the end of this line to Plaza Catalunya and take the metro from there, the metro station at Plaza Espanya is... Perfect location for sightseeing, staff were pleasant and breakfast was simple but just what was needed to start the day. After a day of walking around the city we were exhausted and the comfy bed was most welcome. We would definitely use this hotel again.

10 minute walk to La Ramblas The room was very clean and modern and we were so impressed with the breakfast they offered for a inexpensive price. We would stay there again. The sta ff went out of their way to help us with planning our tours.

A decent budget hotel close to the metro and t10 minute walk from the La Ramblas area. Busy road outside with plenty of street noise most times of the day and night. Breakfast ok but nothing special (it is 2 star for a reason) but the hotel was very clean and had pleasant and helpful staff. It ticked a lot... More

I spent three nights at hotel Parallel in early April, and apart from some traffic noise I was satisfied with my stay. This hotel could have been a hidden gem in Barcelona, available at a very reasonable price and at a great location. Unfortunately, there were some “problems”. The deal breaker for me was the noise from the street directly... More

I use tripadvisor for almost all my stays and booked Hotel Paral.Lel due to it's great reviews..... which I am largely in agreement with..... largely. In order reflect my version of other peoples reviews I'll put in some questions and answers:- Q. Is it off the beaten track? A. Not at all. Right by a metro stop.... 3 stops to... More

If you don't want a fancy five star hotel but do want somewhere central, clean and central that ensures a good night's sleep after a full day of sight seeing, this is a great hotel to consider. Our second visit - close to transport on the Metro and easy to access all the places of interest. Highly recommended.

If you're a couple that are happy to walk, catch a metro or a bus to view this beautiful city Id say this hotel is perfect. Situated on a road parallel to le rambla although it's not 'close' to barcelona's 'hot spots' it gives you a great opportunity to walk through the city and notice it's true beauty. Also there... Staying in Montjuic

Neighborhood Profile
Montjuic
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colorful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
