I stayed at the hotel with a friend for 2 nights over the weekend and for what we paid to stay there over a weekend I can't complain about anything. The room was a great size, the bed was comfy, the location is amazing (about a ten minute walk from La Ramblas) with a really handy shop across the road... More

I was there for 3 nights. The room was in the 5th floor.but unfortunately there was no elevator. I had to take my luggage on the stairs by myself.they told me that it will work the second day,but it never worked. There was no napkins in the room nor in the bathroom. But at the same time the location was... More

I had a headache staying here because i really cant sleep well. the lady receptionist is not accommodating and doesnt even allow my brother in lawto stay in the lobby. To think... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel last Sat night. We were immediately greeted by Carlos at the front desk. He was extremely gracious in offering us a complimentary breakfast for the following morning. As native English-speakers, his English language skills were very good and he was easily able to answer all of our questions. We were also very... More

This was a good hotel for the price and standard (two stars). The service was great, because the staff were nice and very helpful. And the hotel is pretty, damn central located, with only a 7-8 minute walk to La Rambla. Are you looking for good location, a good price and are not a picky/spolied person, the hotel is great... This was my second stay here, not so good as it was before. Hotel is very simple and not luxurious, but the price to value is OK. I choosed that hotel because of price and location. Room equipment is good in comparison to other 2* hotels: the fridge (empty), the TV-Set, safe (extra paid ) It is close to metro... More

The desk was staffed on arrival by a very helpful young lad ( Been there for under 2 weeks) he was on his own dealing with check ins etc . Notification and email sent requesting shower etc not actioned. Room basic but value for money, some minor points include only one pillow per person and even then extremely thin. Young... More

I stayed for four nights during a international conference, this accommodation is budget but despite this is exceptionally well staffed, cleaned and presented. It is well located for the main La Rambla district and also 3-4 minute walk from Parral-lel Metro station. For value accommodation in Barcelona this would take some beating.

The hotel is well located and a metro stop can be found nearby. The area can become a bit dodgy at night, but the hotel are aware of this and lock the doors, only opening for guests. My room was tiny, but cosy and was located right next to the exit for the stairs. This was not a good thing,... More

I stayed there only one night for business. The hotel is very well located for those that needs fast transport to and from BCN. It was clean, nice very central and still quiet. The room was small but cozy, and with a very helpful staff. I will definitively recommend it!

Staying in Montjuic

Neighborhood Profile
Montjuic
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colorful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
