Hotel is 5 mins from Metro & restaurants, 15 mins from Las Ramblas & 15 mins from a tourist information booth where you can get the Tourist Bus. Rooms are exactly as per photos, new, extremely clean & well looked after, but a bit on the small side. It's not a luxury hotel, but perfect for the traveller who wants... More

Not in the centre but about 10 minute gentle walk to the Ramblas. All the staff, especially Luciana the senior receptionist, was really good. The hotel has some restaurants around but the chinese on the right on the roundabout is good value.Would stay there again.Stayed 4 nights and really enjoyed it.

Its an average hotel in terms of stay.. And if your thoughts are of a checking inn to a hotel with big rooms and bathroom with bathtub and all... Do give a thought. The room size was not big and not even small as matchbox.. It is OK to stay. The bathroom is small . We faced a problem that... More

This is a small hotel in a convenient location. Rooms are pretty basic but with all the "essentials". The room was clean. A handy supermarket is located just in front of the entrance. The only flaws I've found are indeed the noise from other guests talking or using the bathroom and the lift, really slow. The price was very low... More

I stayed at the hotel with a friend for 2 nights over the weekend and for what we paid to stay there over a weekend I can't complain about anything. The room was a great size, the bed was comfy, the location is amazing (about a ten minute walk from La Ramblas) with a really handy shop across the road... More

I was there for 3 nights. The room was in the 5th floor.but unfortunately there was no elevator. I had to take my luggage on the stairs by myself.they told me that it will work the second day,but it never worked. There was no napkins in the room nor in the bathroom. But at the same time the location was... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel last Sat night. We were immediately greeted by Carlos at the front desk. He was extremely gracious in offering us a complimentary breakfast for the following morning. As native English-speakers, his English language skills were very good and he was easily able to answer all of our questions. We were also very... More

Staying in Montjuic

Neighborhood Profile
Montjuic
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colorful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
