We have stayed at the H10 Itaca three times now an we really can't fault it.The staff on reception and in the restaurant are superb especially Laura who is very friendly. The bar service took some getting used to as you have to ring the buzzer on the table, if no one is serving behind the bar. There is a... More

stayed here just for the one night on business. Staff are pleasant, room VERY small. Ok for a night or two but no longer. Opening wardrobe door usually led to being pushed back onto the bed it was so close. Some nice touches though. A hand written note welcoming you by name and hoping that you enjoyed your stay and... Lovely small gem of a hotel. Close to trains and metro lines. Rooms small but comfortable and clean. Nice bathroom amenities. Lovely dinner and great service. Buffet breakfast varied and reasonable. Great hotel for a short stay.

I see a review by 'mromanrn' and I can confirm his comments. I too was in room 208 and the noise from about 6am in the morning of furniture being moved around was ridiculous. And yes the walls were very thin and yes you can hear the people beside, above and below you very clearly. Also because in my room... More

We stayed in room 208. Pros: affordable, clean, close to Sants train station (walking distance). Bank and grocery store on street level, cute lobby. Cons: at 0600 noise woke me up. It sounded like either a kitchen/conference room/restaurant opened up right below or right next to us. Constant noise, dragging of chairs on the hardwood floors, constant banging noise, flushing... Stayed at this hotel in July this year. I was really surprised as I thought the price was really fair for the quality of this hotel. Service was good, staff was nice and we really enjoyed to eat food in the pool garden! I will definitely visit again :)

The hotel is very close to the central railway station so if you are using a train its ideal. The Hop-on-hop-off Tour Bus stop is about 5mins walk. We bought a 2 day pass for the Orange and Green line and used it get back to the hotel each evening. The only negative thing about the hotel was their coffee... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
