The hotel was great. I went with my boyfriend and had a lovely room on the corner with two windows (211). Although it was quite a busy street the double glazing was great as we both slept brilliantly. The shower was really good (hot and powerful) nice towels, good breakfast, spacious VERY clean room. Inglaterra was an average hotel with a great location. Because this was an anniversary trip, I decided to spring for one of the special "suites"--we stayed in the Dali suite on the sixth floor which had it's own private "terrace." The best thing about this hotel is the location-within walking distance of so many great Barcelona sites and restaurants- and the very good breakfast offerings that came with the room. The staff is attentive and helpful. What was very dissappointing is first, we asked seven months ahead for a room on a high floor-with hopefully less noise- and got one... more

Well situated near “the Ramblas”, restaurants, and transportation. Room was clean with a charming balcony. Room was small, which is typical European size. Staff was friendly and helpful (particularly Maribel). Great place to stay. more

Spent 4 nights altogether, both before and after cruise. Very convenient to The Ramblas and City bus Tour starting point. Very friendly and helpful reception people when checking in and asking for directions, restaurant suggestions, etc. Rooms are typical European size, comfortable beds, clean, well appointed bathrooms.
