Stayed three nights here. Hotel is in a fantastic position just off Las Ramblas and Plaza Catalunya. Good sized clean room, friendly staff, safe in the room, coffee/snacks available from vending machine in the lobby.

Stayed here for five nights. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel because there are lots of places nearby offering breakfast for a good price. Also we found the breakfast at the hotel to be quite expensive. We had to change rooms after the first night because of the noise from the cleaning staff. The guy in the lobby was... More

Just returned from a stay at the NH Barcelona Centro and we were very impressed. Upon arrival we were awarded a free upgrade to a junior suite which had 2 rooms and a very spacious bathroom. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was nice and powerful. The location is ideal being walking distance to Las Ramblas. In terms... More

Everything was very pleasant and efficient, EXCEPT the Sunday morning in which I left. We had to leave at 8AM to catch our airplane, but breakfast does not open until 8 on Sunday. I was told the night before that there would be coffee and croissants. BUT when I came to the lobby at 7:30, I was told that everything... More

Warm ambiance, private feel to room although a little small. Quiet and sound proof not even the mini fridge made a noise. Lots of toiletries and just a few steps away from La Rambla and Catalunya, what more can one ask for?

Very good hotel, nice location walking distance from the Ramblas and plaza de Catalunia. corte ingles at 5 mns walking. About 25 to 35 mns to airport with taxi but also bus to airport at 10 mns, The upper room is small, bathroom is small also but acceptable. Bed is good. Aircon is comfortable . I recommend for the breakfast... More

This hotel is in a shopping area, which is very quiet at night, and close enough to walk to all the action. The breakfast is 16 Euro per person, all you can eat. Decent value. The beds were very comfortable. Opt for the Comfort Double with a sitting room and tiny balcony. While the front desk personnel seems short handed,... More

Nice clean, quiet hotel in a great location for seeing the sites, shopping, not far from the airport shuttle bus and the Hop-on, Hop-off bus. We took a taxi from the port to the hotel, no trouble finding it.

You cannot find a better location. In fact, you might not be able to find it at all - the shuttle bus driver dropped us off at the Placa Catalonia with some vague directions and we wondered around quite a while before we found it as it's on a tiny little lane with no cars. Our room was in a... More

The room was pretty good. We had a small balcony overlooking the street. We stayed here when we first got to Barcelona and had the option to stay again the night before we flew back out. We liked it enough to stay there again. They have a parking agreement with a nearby garage but it was still about $30.50 a... More

Staying in Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighborhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
