Situated in the Barri Gotic area of Barcelona it is just off La Ramblas which makes it such a great hotel to stay at as the location is perfect. We stayed on a room only basis so unfortunately didn't get to try out the breakfast but we were offered upon check in if we would like to pay for breakfast... More

We stayed at the NH Barcelona Centro for 5 nights in mid April. It was perfect for us. The location is wonderful - right in the historic quarter and within walking distance of popular attractions and the main transport hub (for the airport bus, open air tourist bus, metro etc). Our room was incredibly quiet, spotlessly clean and very comfortable.... More

The NH Barcelona Centro was a very good pick for a nights accommodation and they kept my baggage overnight to lighten the load when away. I had a good time. Good time. We travelled from South of Barcelona by train and walked to the hotel. It was easy to find and very central. The staff were helpful and the rooms very clean and modern. Breakfast was an extra but worth it if your going to be walking around all day. No tea or coffee making facilities which would have been nice.

Couldn't believe how well we did with this hotel. Near to the aerobus, centre of barcelona, one street from the ramblas. Clean and friendly. Breakfast buffet was excellent but we only did that the first morning as lots of places to gave breakfast and watch the world go by. Amazingly quiet hotel considering location until you open a window but... More

Great location--but noisy sometimes late at night. Breakfast room was very nice. Nice selection of food. The staff was very helpful and responsive. We would consider staying there again even though it was an older building in an older part of town.

I have stayed in multiple NH hotels and they never disappoint. Always with incredible service, luxurious beds and bedding, and the best breakfast to start your day. Although the breakfast is a bit on the steep side (14 euro a person/day) it is delicious and all you can eat ( and there's even wine and champagne, fresh juices, gluten free... More

Staying in Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighborhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
