We took the Aerobus from the airport to placa Espanya (30 minutes ride). From there you can either walk to the hotel, 20 minutes walk, or take the metro (green line L3 - only 2 stops). The Aerobus has 3 stops, first stop is placa Espanya, last stop is placa Catalunya. On the day we left Barcelona, we decided to... More

Stayed in this hotel twice - before and after a cruise from Barcelona. Hotel is in a great spot. It is a short walk to some great dining options, and even some tourist attractions are walking distance. Only 10 minutes drive from the cruise ship harbour, and best of all, there is a metro stop right outside the hotels front... More

My wife and I were four nights Wed to Sunday on the 6th Floor. Room and bathroom big enough. Cleaning staff noisy in the corridors but rooms were cleaned well. Breakfast was plentiful but a bit boring, but they have to cater for tastes from a wide variety of nations. Wifi is free but ranged from being OK to terrible.... More

We stayed in this hotel for two nights prior to a cruise. We had two rooms and while the triple room was a reasonable size, my husband and I had a standard double room that was tiny. However as we spent little time in the room, it was a good trade off to be in an excellent location. Our first... More

Wow! What an amazing trip & amazing hotel. Perfectly situated, 30 second walk from a metro station, 10 minute walk to las ramblas, plenty of small supermarkets, cafes and patisseries in the surrounding area. The staff were helpful and friendly right from the start, both those of reception, on the roof top bar and the room cleaners. Wifi codes, metro... More

Just checked in and so far really pleased. Our room was not ready so they suggested their internet lounge or the rooftop terrace and bar. Both. Were great checked in after lunch and room is super contemporary with simple furniture but it's all we need and spacious. Also great blackout curtains!

Nice looking hotel in a convenient part of the city for transport. However, we had one major issue, which was the incessant noise! There appears to be absolutely no noise insulation whatsoever. We could hear snoring, music, televisions, people getting in and out of lifts, children running along the corridors, people showering almost constantly. I don't expect silence in a... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
