Wonderful hotel in every way. Location maybe a little far for just tourist stuff, but overall well-located especially if you have a variety of plans in Barcelona. The staff went out of their way to help. Although we arrived before check-in, they got our room ready in a jiffy, for which we were very grateful!!

We spent 2 nights at the Hotel Dante. I was pleasantly surprised by the choice I made to stay here. Centrally located and close to bus lines and hop and go buses. Many restaurants and a market close by. A very memorable experience and we will stay here again if we are in Barcelona. I would give this hotel a... More

The hotel was not in the central part of the city but we didn,t care. The staff when you entered the foya they were there to help. they were excellant, making sure your stay was a good one! The rooms were small but clean, very quiet & we had a great stay thanks to the staff behind the desk.

This hotel was clean & of a good standard. I was probably expecting it to be more like a travel lodge level but it was certainly much better than that. Staff were reasonably helpful & friendly. Didn't really have much to deal with them. Breakfast wasn't too great to be honest. We had 4 rooms in total & all of... More

While this hotel does not have the charm of a boutique hotel, it checked all the boxes for a quick city escape - the location, centre of town, great service, reasonably priced. The rooms are convenient. The breakfast is good. The staff was very helpful in giving us restaurant suggestions and sightseeing options.

While definitely not a 5 star hotel, it is a solid 4 star with friendly staff, always ready to provide instructions or suggestions. We stayed for 1 night pre-cruise and 2 nights post-cruise. The staff arranged for transportation to and from the ship, and the airport. Hotel Dante is situated around a 20 minute walk from Las Ramblas and therefore... More

We arrived in Barcelona early Saturday afternoon, it was sooooo hot (38 degrees plus!!!). But, walking into the hotel, it was like an oasis - cooling and calming. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The paperwork was processed quickly and efficiently. As we made our way to the bedroom, we commented how quiet the place is (given that many would... More

The room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was spacious, great and modern. The WiFi connection was fast and free. The breakfast selection was good but it costs 15 euros per person. Staff are good especially Alexander who helped us with tips on transport and restaurants. The hotel is not in the center of the tourist area, but nearby there... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
