Stayed for 4 nights mid February as family of 4 (kids age 4&7) in 2 connecting rooms. The location was convenient to get around and there were lots of great restaurants near by. The size of the rooms were perfect for us. We were facing the street, but it wasn't noisy and we had a lovely view of the buildings... More

The hotel is close to metro station and Casa Pedrera . The reception staff was very helpful. the room was clean and the breakfast very good. The wifi in 6th floor was very fast. I recommend this hotel and if I come again to Barca I will stay here again.

good location, easy to walk to things and connections to main thoroughfare and metro. hotel is nice, clean with good amenities, and breakfast. staff was very helpful in booking excursions, but less helpful in dealing with an accident. was visiting with my mom who broke her wrist during this trip (not in the hotel) and they were simply not able... Was in Barcelona for the Barcelona v Manchester City match, so decided to have a short break. The hotel is very convenient for the Metro and about 10 minutes from Catalan Square ,the hotel staff were very helpful with explaining how to get around Barcelona, and the intricacies of the Metro, the restaurants around the hotel were far cheaper than... This is a very friendly, clean, conveniently located hotel. Loved how everyone makes the effort to help the guest. We have been walking to most places from here. Haven't tried the food yet because it's so conveniently located to many restaurants and bars. No need to drive anywhere from here. I would recommend it 100%

We stayed @ Dante hotel 6-9 March as post cruise stop off to explore beautiful Barcelona before returning home. We requested room on high floor with city view and early check-in if possible. When we arrived at 9.30am (!!) not only were we warmly welcomed but delighted to hear our room was already available. However on checking the room realised... More

My wife and I stayed at the Dante for two nights. The rooms were clean and reasonably large. The shower was quite impressive. The spray almost knocked me over. The staff were friendly and spoke English. It is in a quieter part of town but there are lots of restaurants nearby.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Location was decent and isn't right next to the tourist affair but that's okay. You can take the metro (Diaganol or Hospital station) which is 5 - 8 blocks away and the neighborhood is fine. There is a grocery store right next door which is really convenient. The include breakfast was quite nice with an... More

Room was large, modern yet with classic look. Bathroom was also large. Buffet breakfast was very generous and tasty. Loved it! Just don't order food from room service...was very disappointing. Great Italian Pizza place around the corner and a supermarket two doors down.

Perhaps I am picky, but when I say that a hotel is a city center hotel it should not be necessary to take the metro to the city center, but you need to do that if you stay at the Hotel Dante. It is true that the hotel is located near the RAMBLA, but it is the very END of... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
