I checked in to the Hotel Adagio after walking past it on the street. It's a good location in the old part of Barcelona near lots of shops and restaurants. I had a room on the top floor which was quiet. The room was clean. There was free wi-fi in the hotel lobby and the breakfast, although limited in choice... more

This hotel is very well located in the right city centre of barcelona, but it's very noise as the room is exterior, the door of the balcony didn't close properly and the hotel is a bit old so you can listen to the water running into the pipes... They have wifi for free but the conexion in the room was... more

We arrived at 5pm. Reception staff very rude and unhelpful. Gave key to room which was a very small twin (we booked a double) when asked to be changed was told rudely hard luck thats all we have. The Hotels (if you can call it that) had the air con turned off and refused to put back on. The picture... more

I visited Barcelona with my mother and we stayed in this hotel. It was perfect for us. It is incredible centrally located, the room was clean, the breakfast was basic, but allright and enough(sandwiches, cheese, ham, jam and coffee). Do nut expect 3 different kinds of fruit juices, eggs and bacon. The rates were very cheap for such a centrally... more

The location is wonderful, but the hotel itself was mediocre. Ants and a cockroach in our room... Breakfast was good though :). more

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Hotel Adagio and the night manager made rude and offensive comments to both of us about being Americans and told us to "get out" of the hotel after we had asked him to stop it. Although the location is very good, we checked out immediately and went to a nearby hostel with wonderful... more

The location is excellent for getting around the central city on foot. The desk staff was friendly. Rooms were small but adequate. The rooms and lobby were clean. Noise was a huge issue. This is a very "young" area, with hostels, bars and restaurants, and night-owls. Street noise kept us from sleeping soundly until about 3 am, and it seemed... more

This hotel was is a great location to all things touristy. Very easy to find, right btw the KFC and McDonalds. Hotel staff was helpful and spoke English. I loved the FREE internet access (9am – midnight). Very clean rooms and a nice bathroom. Noise is an issue but just bring some earplugs and you will be fine. BFK is... more
