My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and it had everything we needed. The location is spot on! Most of the landmarks are in the walking distance (we loved La Bouqeria market which is 100 m from the hotel). It is a 3 star hotel and You shouldn't expect anything more than that, but it is clean, breakfast... More

My fiancé and I stayed here for one night in November. We wanted to be central so we could go for a walk one day and we had a long drive planned the next day so we needed a good nights sleep. The room we were given was outrageous for the price we had paid. It was tiny, had no... More

I am so disappointed with the hotel and staff that I don’t even want to waste my time writing anything about them. Needless to say I can confirm that the Hotel staff were useless and unhelpful, the rooms was not great and even the shower did not work properly. I asked at 10 pm to sit on the terrace and... More

We stayed here for 26-28 April, this was our 3rd visit and each time has beeen better than the previous. The room,904, was spacious, comfortable, quiet and had a terrace with city views. The staff, as always, were friendly and helpful. We will not hesitate in staying here next time we visit Barcelona.

I spent a long weekend here. I have stayed in better hotels but found that this was good value for money and the room was quiet enough at night. The staff I came into contact were polite, friendly and helpful. Walk out the front door and you are on the Ramblas.

The location of this hotel was superb! If you like to walk out your hotel door and straight into the vibe of an unfamiliar city this was the place in Barcelona for us. We wandered all round Ramblas, we ate incredible food, restaurants close by, the most amazing food market we visited in Europe was just down the street, close... More

Dear All, My mother was staying in this hotel with her friends for 3 days. One evening she went out from the room to her friends room (30-40min) and when she returned 320 euros were missing from her purse. Nothing else was taken except the money and there were no signs of robbery. She saw some staff members when she... More

The most perfect location in Barcelona. Walking distance to almost everything. An old hotel that might have seen better days but nothing can beat it's location. You will find all kinds of restaurants and shops just outside the hotel entrance

Staying in La Rambla

Neighborhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-meter boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetizing selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
