The location of the hotel is great and the staff are really friendly. We stayed in February, obviously not peak season, but what was failed to be mentioned was the hotel was having a lot of construction being done to it. Bar and pool were closed, reception wasn't relocated and the floor we were staying on had construction being done... More

The hotel itself is beautiful from the outside and In, but the rooms are lacking a sense of style/ modern touch. For the price, one would expect a better room. The service is excellent while the restaurant in the hotel is amazing and the roof top terrace/pool are great. If I had to stay in my room the whole time I... More

We stayed at the Condes de Barcelona in September 2015. It's a very nice hotel in a great location. There are a few Gaudi sites to see in the area, and there's great shopping all around. The location is quite busy and can be loud, but we enjoyed the central location and easy access to the subway. The breakfast option... More

We transferred to this hotel for two nights on the recommendation of the staff of Hotel Royal Passeig de Gracia which is across the street and where we stayed for a couple of night before coming to this hotel. The hotel is very conveniently located in the middle of Barcelona's trendy shopping district with lots of eateries and cafes as... More

Very comfortable hotel with well appointed rooms. Staff very pleasant. Perfect location for someone wanting to explore Barcelona - great for shopping and for just wandering on foot. Lots of shops close by, close to access to underground.

Great location made it so easy to go for site seeing and shopping walks. You can catch a tour bus just across the street and about a block away. Very close to many sites. If you like to walk - take a nice 1 mile walk down to La Rambla and the water. So much to see, taste and experience.... More

Stayed here for seven nights and then moved to the Colon Hotel. Was interesting to compare the two. Pluses for Condes - very attractive and very comfortable. Nice sized rooms, altho' I had a view of the construction next door, but gee, somebody has to! Beds are a little hard, but that seems to be the case in the Romance... More

Here for a full week on business in Nov. hotel is well placed for shopping and tourist activities. Staff are very professional. Room was perfectly adequate although I'd have preferred more easily accessible plugs for charging ink phones & laptops ect. Breakfast was fairly basic but perfectly adequate in the resturant Loidis. Did not eat in the resturant outside of... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
