Nothing exceptional about this hotel, but they do everything just right. Friendly helpful staff, bright clean rooms and good location. Just far enough away from the main tourist areas to have lots of less commercialised bars and restaurants, but still only a short walk to the centre. WiFi free, but not that fast.

We stayed here for 4 nights (27th December - 31st January). First the good points: 1. Location - We chose this hotel due its location, which not disappoint! It is very close to las ramblas, with lots of nearby restaurants, shops, cafes and bars. We walked everywhere from the hotel, including the port, the beach, the gothic quarter and la... More

I really enjoy our stay here as one of the best hotel during our holiday in Barcelona. The hotel was pretty good. The beds were very comfortable & clean. The rooms included fridges. The staff & breakfast was excellent! Can't pass that up.

The hotel has great value for money and is located within walking distance of Barcelona center and nearby a metro station. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The only issue is that on 20-nov-2015, the airco was turned off and hence our room was too warm to sleep. The hotel manager mentioned that this was caused by that... More

The hotel was nice and very close to the hart of barcelona. Breakfast beautiful. The only thing was let down by was the refurbishmet was taking place and lots of noise coming from up stairs. And rooms having a bit of a smell

Check-in was very efficient and the staff were friendly & helpful. We stayed in room 303 on the third floor. The room was a little bit tired, but the hotel is currently in the process of being refurbished (the refurbishment is due to complete approximately April 2016). This did not deter standards, as the rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable.... More

We were welcomed by a very friendly and helpful parking attendant. The reception staff quickly got us into our room after a long flight. The rooms are small but pleasant. Skip the breakfast is expensive, you can get a nice bite to eat for about half the price with in half a block. The location is good but finding the... More

The hotel is convenient to many of the places you want to see or access in Barcelona. The desk staff, with exception of one girl in the afternoon, was Excellent. Particularly Franceso was outstanding and made our stay memorable. The rooms are adequate for Europe, clean rooms and bathrooms. The roof top is fantastic with a pool, hot tub and... More

We stayed for 7 nights at this hotel last week, and we found it to be very pleasant and within an excellent location, there are plenty of Restaurants and Bars, 5 - 10 mins walk to La Pedrera, and 15 - 20 to La Sagrada Familia. The hotel was slightly noisy and the beds were a bit uncomfortable, and WiFi... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
