My mother and I stayed in this hotel last September when on holiday in Barcelona and I was really impressed. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the service was excellent and the rooms were cosy and clean. We booked room and breakfast only and there was a very good choice of food to have for breakfast. The hotel is... More

Super nice hotel with a great pool and a jacuzzi at the rooftop with a great view.. Friendly and very helpful staff. Very close to passeig de gracia with restaurants and shops. I can recommend it for sure if you want to stay in a nice place in the center with a pleasant atmosphere.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, and the best of it all: roof terrasse with swimmingpool and a bar! Perfect for a slow start of a new day or a last drink before going to bed. Nice restaurants just around the corner and short walk to town centre

Visited barcelona in 5 days with my girlfriend. This hotel is very cheap for its standards! Everything was perfect! I had all questions answered at the reception. You had a feeling that they cared about you and wanted the best holiday for you.

5th stay here and always chose this hotel when in Barcelona. Perfect boutique hotel with wonderful staff. So helpful in every way. Enrique and Christian especially noteworthy. Rooms have comfortable beds, pillows and extra blankets. Lovely location with cafes right outside the door and walk to many Barcelona sites. Safe and charming neighborhood. One note: if you need a taxi... More

We stayed here for 4 nights during a trip to Barcelona to celebrate my Husbands birthday. I had mentioned this when I booked and we were pleasantly surprised to have our room upgraded when we went to check in. The lobby area is clean and modern and the staff very helpful and friendly and were happy to offer restaurant and... More

I stayed here for 3 nights/4 days with my boyfriend. The hotel is located in a really nice part of the city (it's quieter here than on the main streets) and a 5 minute walk will bring you to a metro station, which I would thoroughly recommend using to get around. The hotel breakfast is wonderful, with lots of different... More

I stayed at Hotel America for 5 nights at the end of March. Easy Jet were offering a flight and hotel (+ breakfast) package at competitive prices and I was swayed by Hotel America's location and amenities. Overall I wasn't disappointed. Upon arrival we found out that the terrace (and pool area) was closed for refurbishment. This was a bit... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
