The kind of place where you stay because of location. Right in Plazza Catalonia and 3 min from Ramblas, metro. As the airport bus has it's terminal in Plazza Catalonia it also made for a cheap airport transfer. The lobby and corridors look pretty old and outdated. Booked this last minute, to be honest, purely on discounted rate and location basis. Travelled with family group of 16 people, so cost was a factor, to keep everyone happy. Very friendly staff. Everyone was happy to communicate in English. The hotel is located steps from the main city center which makes it great for sightseeing. The breakfast was delicous!
