Just back from my 1st visit to Barcelona. My Partner booked the trip as a surprise and chose the Royal Ramblas as the reviews he had read said it was central. As I have recently had back surgery this was a major consideration. The location definitely didn't disappoint. Couldn't fault the hotel. Room was ready on arrival, even though we... More

We spent four nights at the Royal Ramblas and received excellent service. Daily room service which included clean towels and facilities. As we had relations in the area did not use the restaurant but would definitely stay there again.

Just returned from a 4 night stay at The Royal Ramblas with my partner. Booked this hotel because of it's position and it didn't disappoint! So handy for the wonderful atmosphere of La Ramblas and the metro. Room was modern and clean plus good for any mobility problems. We mostly went out for breakfast, such as the wonderful food market... More

My partner and i have just returned from a long weekend at the royal ramblas. We found the room although on the small side to be very clean and modern. The hotel is excellently positioned for public transport and the tour buses. We ate in the restaurant on our last night and found both food and service to be good.... More

A friend recommended this hotel for my first short break to Barcelona and it didn't disappoint. Centrally located on las ramblas , walking distance to the sights and metro on the doorstep. The room was small but as described, very clean and tidy. We were moved to a much larger room overlooking las ramblas after hotel notified us of a... More

I have just returned from a three night stay at Las Ramblas. It was a great hotel, fantastic location and I would recommend staying here for a trip to Barcelona. The breakfast was plentiful, room comfortable and clean. My only problem was they take 100% of the first nights stay before you arrive and as they were not processing it... More

Royal Ramblas Hotel is situated about 50m from Plaça Catalunya and directly at Las Ramblas. Because of this it's quite ideal location to explore Barcelona. Interior is modern and nice. Rooms are quite large for a city center hotel and equipped with minibar and coffee/tea facilities. Hotel has a lobby area which is open from 11am (after breakfast closes) and... More

we were very lucky to have chosen the Royal Ramblas and elected to stay for 3,4 nights recently. We enjoyed a classic check in with all the formality the Spanish could muster and our room that overlooked Las Ramblas so we could watch all the action. The food was really great including the all you can eat breakfast with lots... More

It is an ideal hotel to stay in Barcelona. It's location is quite ideal, right in the Ramblas of Barcelona and close to Plaça Catalunya. From here you can move to any place via bus, subway or taxi. The staff at the reception as well as the breakfast buffet is very friendly. The rooms are first class. Special thanks to... More

We had a standard bedroom for four nights at £79 per night. Tea/coffee machine in room ! The towels were changed daily and even the bed linen was changed once. Our room overlooked La Rambla which was very interesting but there was some traffic noise. We were able to take advantage of the free breakfast offer. Otherwise it is 15euros.... More

Staying in La Rambla

Neighborhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-meter boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetizing selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
