We stayed here for 4 nights last week. Having visited Barcelona many years ago on a day trip from a beach resort in Spain, it was a city I always wanted to revisit and stay in and I'm so glad I did and so pleased I chose this hotel. It's position on Las Ramblas is excellent and makes it very... More

Hotel was situated conveniently in the heart of Las Ramblas but amazingly quiet ! All the staff were wonderful and very helpful. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to experience Barcelona. The only criticism would be that the petit double that we booked certainly looked larger in the photos thanks to a wide angled lens no doubt !

Just stayed here for 5 days. This is a great located hotel, very central on Las Ramblas and well located for sea front and other attractions. Close to all bars and restaurants near the centre. Rooms were well appointed and comfortable. Despite being right on Las Ramblas there was no unwelcome noise and room was very quiet. Would recommend to... More

Near to Plaza Catalunya and right on Las Ramblas. Everything is close by. The hotel staff is very friendly. Rooms are well equipped with a very comfortable King size bed and rain shower in the Royal rooms. A luggage room is available for storage after you check out. Very good breakfast and excellent restaurant on the premises. Opt for a... More

Stayed for 4 nights and had to contend with smelly washroom detergent smells.I got a bit nauseated with the odor. Not sure if this is a standard barcelona cleaning agent. Lobby is public place. Beware of your personal belongings. Anyone in the street can sit there even if they have no business at the hotel. Odd but true.

Easy to find from airport bus drop off in catalunya square. 10 minute walk Max. Good location and within walking distance of Gothic quarter, port and transport. We stayed in Ramblas view, heard no noise from the street. Fantastic stay, would stay here again in a heartbeat. I would go back!)

We reserved a room for 5 days as our 20th Wedding Anniversary. The higher the better was what we learned from a previous review. We were not disappointed at all. The room is spotless, the view on the Ramblas terrific, and the staff friendly and approachable. The wifi was stable and was fast enough for our devices. We would willingly... More

Wonderful location at the upper part of La Rambla, 2 minutes away from Plaza Cataluña and walking distance to the sea. We had a good size room on the 6th floor (604) - wonderful view of La Rambla. Comfortable big bed. There was a kettle in the room. Upon arrival, you get a 10 percent discount of the hotel restaurant... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
