Clean, attractive, quiet hotel nicely located close to metro. Awesome breakfast. Fast reliable WiFi. Service was excellent and the guy at the front desk did an awesome job recommending sites and restaurants. I would stay again and recommend to friends. The restaurant next door sucked. They were busy on a Saturday night and the waiter did not return when asked... More

We had a nice, clean, and quiet room on the ground floor. I was a little worried after reading some reviews, but we never had any problems. Staff was willing to check us in early as our flight came in early from the US. They were helpful when we had some problems on the subway. Breakfast was always good and... More

I had a trip to Barcelona given to me as a b'day present by my other half; the choice of the hotel was based on the options available and she chose the best in terms of location and rooms: she got it right. The hotel is located one minute from a Metro station (El Putxet) on the L7 line, six... More

Nice location but unfortunately unlike some other travelers we were not that impressed with the staff nor the amenities. The folks at the front desk didn't go out of their way to help or offer suggestions and when talking to them we felt like we were intruding. We had a junior suite and the room was nice but offered minimal... More

My boyfriend and I bought a groupon deal which included a 2 evening stay at this hotel, this small friendly hotel were so hospitable. Great location due to the proximity of the metro station (3 min walk across the square), as well as the supermarket convenience store right across the street. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with advice... More

I was very impressed with the hotel. The staff were very friendly, their continental breakfast buffet was very good, rooms were very clean and comfy including washrooms. Wifi/AC and hot water facilities were also top notch. Furthermore, there is a late night shop(shuts at 12) right opposite the hotel(10 steps from the entrance) for any late night cravings. Finally, within... More

just returned from Barcelona. Had a great stay in this hotel. Very clean, comfy bed, great shower, good air con, which was a god send!! An easy and cheap ride on the metro from the centre....only about four stops with no changes. Buy a T10 ticket at the airport and you can use this for the train and the metro......very... More

We loved this hotel! We needed some advice and help on ordering tickets for a museum and a reservation for a restaurant. The receptionist was very helpful and took more than half an hour to really help us. The breakfast tastes good, the rooms are nice and comfortable and very clean. I would really recommend this hotel to anybody within... More

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and was not disappointed. The staff as before was friendly and helpful. The Wifi has improved a bit. The room was very good as extremely clean. It is in a fantastic location close to all.

Barcelona is a very expensive place to stay in. I checked prices of many hotels ad unfortunately I cant afford to pay £150 per night or more. This place has got everything but what is the most important LOCATION. it is only about 3 or 4 stops from main attractions (max half an hour) . Nice PRICE , we paid... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Hotel Sant Gervasi, is located 5 metro stops away from down town, in the most select part of Barcelona, where Modernist houses and new buildings enjoy a happy coexistence. This neighborhood is one of the safest & quietest in town. Close by to the Hotel, and very well communicated, you have also the following sightseeing’s: Park Güell, the fantastic park designed by the architect Antoni Gaudí and the Tibidabo mountain. The hotel’s size – it has only 63 rooms – is part of its special charm, and its guests will enjoy the warm hospitality only found in such intimate establishments. The Sant Gervasi is also convenient for all transport, the historic city centre and the trade fair site at Montjuïc. ... more   less
