Ideal location for Plaza Catalunia for easy arrival by bus from airport and access to La Ramblas and metro etc. It all happens from Plaza Catalunia, so being two mins walk is ideal. Room is functional and bathroom had good shower and toiletries. Double beds are limited, so we got a twin Suite which was ok for us on a... More

I was expecting more based on the reviews, but I suppose in August in Barcelona your money does not go as far. The main thing this hotel has going for it is it's location. On the other plus side, the bed was good, room was quiet and there are some amenities in the room. It also was very well cleaned.... More

Small hotel on central street close to Las Ramblas. Room is smallish but clean, comfortable and bathroom has everything you need. Great aircon in room. Breakfast was good with hot and cold choices. Great internet, really fast. Excellent value for money.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise as weren't expecting these many amenities from a 3 star hotel. The room is quite big by European standards & the staff very helpful. The rooms are clean too with a well-stocked mini bar and a spacious bathroom. The location is one of the safer ones in Barcelona with good connectivity & lively even... More

When writing a review it‘s important to keep in mind what’s being offered. The Hotel Atlantis is a three star hotel and with that limitation in mind then it’s an excellent hotel. Reception is small and deceiving compared to the nearby hotels. Check in was fast, efficient and friendly. Generally the lobby staff were courteous and helpful. As a rule... More

I stayed here for one night while on a business trip. The location is very good and I was impressed by the facilities offered in the room and hotel (the wifi was very good and easy to use). The room I stayed in was very tiny and the bed especially, my feet were hanging over the side of the bed... More

Slow check in. We got three rooms and the room I received was not the same size as the other two. And we all reserved the same room type and paid the same fare. Very disappointed there. Slow check-in process. It doesn't take that long....Clerk spoke English and was able to process, but he was on island time. It's not... More

Hotel is just a short walk from airport bus drop-off at Catalunya Square and the Ramblas. We got into the room immediately - arrived at lunchtime. The room had a safe, fridge, coffee-making facilities, a comfortable bed, a bath and a living area. The breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly and helpful. There is a lift so it doesn't matter... More

I travelled to Barcelona for a one-night stay visiting to watch FC Barcelona game. I didn't really care about the quality of the room or the hotel. I just wanted it to be clean and have a pleasant sleep. Since it wasn't my first time in Barcelona I search a reasonable price to stay in a one-person room. The room... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
