This hotel was very good value and was in a great location. Breakfast wasn't great, but overall I would definitely recommend this hotel and would return if I went back to Barcelona. Rooms had nice layout and all necessary amenities. Great location, really close to everything.

Great location, excellent breakfast, clean room with nice few. Stuff was very helpful with plenty of advice. We had a great room, number 301 as far as I can remember. There were only two of us but they gave us huge room with two bathrooms. Every recommendation for young couples who need top spot location without breaking the bank.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights with breakfast included before boarding the Mediterranean Cruise. The location is quite central. We walked to La Rambla and walked to the Viator's tour office where the tour bus took us to Spanish Village, cable car ride to Montjic Castle,Antoni Gaudi's Barcelona masterpieces, La Sagrada Familia cathedral, Park Guell and Casa Batllo... Stayed here for a post cruise overnight. The hotel was no more than a five minute walk from Placa Catalunya so very convenient for the airport bus. The beds were clean and comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. Breakfast was included and more than adequate. We would definitely stay again.

The hotel is strategically located right next to Las Ramblas. The hotel is clean, neat and the staff are very friendly. We stayed there in October and this was the perfect hotel to explore the Old City and Las Ramblas. The hotel is walking distance from the Metro station as well. If the hotel is in your budget, look no... More

We unfortunately only spent 2 nights at this Hotel and in Barcelona so had to cram in as much as we could during this time and didnt get to spend too much time at the hotel. However, I can comment that our check-in and arrival went smoothly. We arrived after midnight but our room was still kept for us (it... More

The Atlantis is a nice, reasonably priced hotel in a great location. The staff is friendly, the rooms are comfortable, and the breakfast is quite nice. We were in close proximity to Las Ramblas and many restaurants and tapas bars. We made use of the mini grocery store across the street for bottled water since we didn't like the taste... More

We researched lots of hotels before our trip to Spsain and always came back to this one for its convenient location and positive commentaries regarding the staff, breakfast and services. We certainly were not disappointed in any way. Our check-in was quick and professional as was every aspect of our interaction with staff. Our one check-in suitcase did not arrive... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
