Good reasonably priced hotel located just 2 streets over from the centre so is slightly quieter. It may not have all the bells and whistles but this is Barcelona, how much time do you spend in the hotel? Will certainly use again.

I don't know what experience other people had, but I book some apartment near by, was a totally disappointed and I arrived here by mistake. Beautiful mistake! nothing seems to be to much bother for them. I am still the hotel now, and even if I said I'll never come back in this city , I'm planning another stay here... More

Business Trip. Bedroom is decent size. The most disappointing part about this hotel - the meeting room on ground floor/basement. The metro run underground and creates constant shaking/rumbling. Me and other business associate were feeling dizzy and had to move out for fresh air. I heard some lower floor rooms can feel the metro too. The breakfast was disappointing. For... More

The hotel room was very dirty with insects inside. The room quality was well below a 4 star hotel. When my friends and I reported the insects in the room they explained us that it was normal, since Barcelona is a big city and insects come and go. I let you take your conclusions from this explanation. Don't go there.

We were with a group, and several of us were placed on the first floor. Small, noisy rooms with no natural light. Weird, incessant rumbling. After the weekend, I was moved to a larger room, but it is clear that maintenance is a low priority at present. Only one of the 2 closet doors moved on its track. The shower... More

We (a couple and two teenager girls) stayed only one night in two rooms in this hotel. We were happily surprised by the quietness of the rooms, the size of them and their nice decoration. The hotel is very well located, in the city center, close to a metro station and to all shopping areas We payed for one day... More

I went there last November with a Tour Group. The location was perfect, in the center of the city. Closed by restaurants, stores, metro & bus lines. Rooms were very clean with enough space to walk around. Breakfast was very good. They even have a small dining area for after hours close by the lobby area. The staff was very... More

rooms are decent size and quite clean. the breakfast is also not bad with hot food like scrambled eggs, tomatoes and sausages. the location is not the best but within walking distance to the main shopping areas, all about 10 to 20 minutes walk away. do avoid rooms facing the air well as you do not get any view and... We didn't know what to expect but we found our room clean and quite comfortable. We were in a good area, not far from Gaudi's unusual buildings and a short walk to the Metro and bus stations. There was a really good Flamenco show located across the road, which we also recommend you visit.

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
