This hotel is located near universitat station, the room I stayed in was quite small room for a double room, but it is enough for a single traveler. The view from the room was to inner courtyard. The hotel didn't have luggage carriers, so i needed to take my suitcase by myself. The stuff was very friendly and showed me... More

I stayed in a few of the Caledonian hotels across Barcelona. I will continue to do so when I stay in BCN. They are consistent with their pricing, their breakfasts are great, their rooms are clean, have a bath and a shower, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the location is great with easy access to public transport and... My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. We were travelling with a couple of other people and all three rooms were in excellent condition. Wonderfully clean and conveniently located with walking distance to a good many things down town. Excellent food recommendations. Lovely atmosphere. The only draw back was the Taxi strike the day we supposed to catch our... More

I had a nice feeling when I stepped into this hotel and I was not disappointed. It's exceptionally clean (the most important thing about a hotel for me). It's cozy, comfortable (apart from the pillows which was the only thing that let it down). Excellent location.

The Caledonian Hotel is in the perfect spot in Barcelona to reach every area on the Metro with ease. The area has a great night life and whilst here we visited a few restaurants. I am not normally the person to boast about where I have eaten but during my trip my friends and I dined at a lovely restaurant... More

I often stay at this hotel when in town on business. Rooms are always clean and tidy, staff pleasant. Although on a main road, you can get an excellent night sleep. The location is good, short walk to Las Ramblas, the Port if you are feeling fit. Would recommend this as a good alternative to the more expensive hotels in... More

This is like a 80s hotel that hasn't been upgraded but it is well kept. Nothing fancy or terrible about it. It is all about the location, perfect to explore and move around the city. Some problems with wi-fi. A/C is efficient but it is "old style" so a bit loud.

The location makes this hotel. It is close to everything - trains, Las Ramblas, Boqueria, Gothic Quarter, etc. It's not in the middle of all of the hustle and bustle, but close enough. I stayed here for a few nights and it was exactly what I needed. It's a no frills hotel, but offers - wifi, it's close to restaurants,... More

Location is great, very close to main attractions but still in a quiet place. Room size and bathroom is ok as I was staying in a single room. A/C a bit too loud. Had no problems with Wi-Fi. Ladies at the reception are helpful. Basic hotel with basic amenities, maybe a little bit overpriced. I got good rate so it... More

The hotel itself is pretty no frills, but the location trumps all. Easy access to the metro, Las Ramblas, Boqueria Market, Gothic Quarter, etc. You can even walk from the hotel down by the water and to the beach if you are up to it. Our rooms were clean and we even had a cute little balcony to look outside... More
