Fantastic stay. Staff all really friendly and helpful. Breakfast excellent, great choice and plenty of it. Location perfect, close to 2 metro stops or walkable to town, sagreda familia or tourist bus. Rooms, we had 407 and 408 for 3 nights. Lovely rooms, spotless and beds changed daily and rooms cleaned daily. Thank you to Susan's our chambermaid for a... More

This hotel is in a wonderful location of the city. The train station is nearby and wonderful restaurants and architecture everywhere! The value is good considering the other hotels in the area as well.

As I only stayed overnight, I can't give a comprehensive review, only to say that it was a very pleasant stay. The staff were very obliging and helped in every way possible. The room was spacious, very clean and offered everything a weary traveller could need, with the one exception being the shower rose which was a small problem. However,... More

We checked into this hotel today and this is the worst, so called, four star hotel I have ever stayed at. The room is claustrophobic, we cannot open the curtains without seeing someone's laundry drying, no comfortable chairs to sit in in the room, no tea/coffee facilities, vents covered in dust in the bathroom, missing light bulbs, revealing the dirt... Likeable 4 star hotel located towards the north of the city between La Pedrera and Sagrada Familia. Bedrooms cleaned daily, all bed linen changed daily. Small choice breakfast. Spanish TV reception except for BBC World News. Close to 2 Metro Stations. Although on a busy road it is quiet.

I spent 6 nights at this hotel (2 nights on my own and 4 nights with a Road Scholar tour). The location is very good -- a 20-25 minute walk to La Sagrada Familia or to La Pedrera (the Gaudi-designed apartment building) and nearby shops and restaurants. A very short walk to the subway. Two ATMs within a 3 block... More

The hotel lobby is very nice and the buffet meals are good with a pretty decent variety of food available. The buffet price was relatively inexpensive, which was nice for a change - everything else on the island is expensive. The hotel backs up to the beach and has a pretty nice bar along side it. The pool was nice.... More

Dear Fernando, I doubt that this comment belongs to this hotel in Barcelona, as it says have aspects that do not fit. It is not a beach hotel, our tv are 32 "plasma, the nearest ATM is 200m and we have no pool. However the title of the commentary we can accept, since we are always in continuous improvement and... I stayed here 1 night on a business trip. This is a nice hotel, located not far from the city center. At the front desk the girl struggled speaking english, but ok. The room was spacious and luxurious, but also located at the busy street side. The hotel was also packed with rather noisy English travellers. Breakfast was very good,... More

Thank you for choosing this time, and I also appreciate your positive feedback, but the stay was not entirely correct perhaps due to the current high season. We are well located and offer Service of quality in a 4-star hotel in Barcelona. Certainly we believe that the Service and attention we have given was correct although we know that the... More

Stayed here for 3 nights on a tour of Barcelona. Hotel is in a good location within easy reach of the city centre. You can get the tourist bus in a 5 minute walk. Room had 2 very comfortable, slightly larger than normal, single beds. Bathroom quite spacious, had a shower over the bath and a bidet. Reception area not... More

My family of four stayed at the Catalonia La Pedrera Hotel at the end of May, 2015, as part of the NCL landcruise package. We were booked for the Catalonia Diagonal Hotel, but somehow our reservation got changed before we arrived - this made arrival difficult. The hotel itself is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. For a... More

Staying in Gracia

Neighborhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the center, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theater that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
