Excellent location in the centre of Barcelona with easy access to all major sights. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Great views over the city from the sundeck - and the dipping pool is ideal for cooling down after a day's sight-seeing! The room was spacious and comfortable - complimentary beer and soft drinks in the mini-bar was... more

Excellent location. We stayed for 3 nights and decided to make our own way from the airport to the hotel. It was extremely easy to find. The location couldn't be better. It's a 5 minute walk from Las Ramblas and the tour bus main stop. As it's just off a main road, it's lovely and quiet. The hotel itself is... more

The hotel is in a brilliant location just 3 minutes walk from the Passig de Gracia (which is where the two Gaudi houses are), it offers everything you would expect from a 4 star hotel although it is a bit more business orientated than tourist. Having said that the staff were very friendly and offered tourist advice if prompted. The... more

I stayed here for three nights and would definately recommend it to friends! I would say this felt more like a business hotel, it was missing the "local" touch to it. However the rooms were spacious, clean and everything what I wuld expect from a four star hotel - BUT it didnt have any in-room safe which I would consider... more

Located just a few blocks from Las Ramblas and the main drag. Clean, modern hotel with attentive staff and nice, comfortable rooms. Small roof top pool was excellent for cooling down after a hot day on the town. Excellent views from roof terrace. Breakfast had everything from eggs made to order to fruit, pastries, cereal, and toast. Also a selection... more

I preparation for my trip to Barcelona to celebrate a wedding anniversary, I spent quite a bit of time looking for a place that would offer a good value in a great location. After reading many reviews I determined the AC Diplomatic was it. We stayed for 7 nights and I have to say that this hotel is nicely located... more

We stayed for 2 nights with 4 other friends over the weekend. The rooms were all very clean and modern. There is a small pool on the roof with sun terrace which was an added bonus, especially at the end of a hot day trekking around the city centre/marina/beach. There were free mini bars in each room with a small... more

Here is a review I wrote elsewhere. Hope you don't mind me copying and pasting! We flew back from Barcelona last night, arriving home at 1.15am, so I'm a little tired after the wildest weekend of my life. Just a few pointers if you are thinking of Barcelona for a weekend break. The airport was about a 20-minute drive from... more

Hotel was terrific. Location was great - just a couple of blocks from Las Ramblas and convenient to tons of restaurants and tapas bars. The famous Block of Discord, containing three Modernista masterpieces (including Gaudi's Casa Batllo) was one block away. Room - We paid extra for a larger room to ensure we ended up in a room with two... more

We stayed at the AC for three nights for holiday. The hotel answered all our expectations and more. Speacious, quiet (backyard room), modern(not "boutique") and friendly with a free soft drinks mini-bar. The hotel is sitted in a quieter neighborhood, just 10 minutes walking distance away of the (too) busy La Rambla, and just near two of Gaudi's famous houses... more
