All was perfection: staff, accommodations, and food. The location is within easy walking distance from the major sites, such as the Gaudi buildings, Barcelona Cathedral, and Las Ramblas. I highly recommend this hotel!

Just returned from a weekend break to Barcelona for my birthday. Location: The location of this hotel is great; within walking distance of Placa Catalunes; Las Ramblas and Barri Gotic - about 20 - 30 mins - and on the way you can take in the beautiful architecture including La Pedrera and other Gaudi delights. The metro is on the... More

We have just returned from our first visit to Barcelona and can only praise this hotel for making our stay so wonderful. The hotel staff were very helpful with nothing to much for them a special mention must go to Yaiza & Silvia whose help with flowers, transportation to/from the airport, tickets for Camp Nou and restaurant recommendation’s were magnificent.... If it was a vacation I would be really upset with the rooms. They are very basic, pale, shabby, dark and with lack of even little style. They are boring. And dark. May be because I had a window to the inner atrium and on the 1st floor, and it was a frosted glass window. General impression of the room... More

The Gallery Hotel was completely adequate for our stay. 5 minutes walk from Diagonal station. Not far from La Pedrera and passeig de gracia so, very well situated for our type of trip. The staff were helpful enough, and luckily enough allowed us to have a slightly late check out due to a very late flight. Breakfast was sufficient. No... More

My wife & I stayed 4 very comfortable nights and had a great time visiting many museums and special features of the city - all easily accessible and often highlighted for us by the receptionist Yaiza who went out of her way to suggest excursions/sites/restaurants that were not previously on our agenda and which proved some of the highlights of... Just got back from a two night stay at the Gallery Hotel. We arrived at around 10:45 and our room wasn't ready, the hotel offered to store our luggage for us or for only €25 a night we could upgrade to a Junior Suite which was available immediately, we decided to take the upgrade as it was a larger room... Went there for a family reunion for NY eve. First of all this place has a very good location, you can go shopping, visit some monuments and enjoy some good restaurants just by walking around. I have nothing against the service, the staff is speaking mostly in french which is helpful with my parents. I remember a nice Xmas decoration.... More

Stayed at this hotel as part of a congress / business trip. Did not have time to explore the city this time, but noticed that the hotel is ideally located IF you mainly want to see the high-end designer stores like Gucci, Versace, YSL, etc. It's a fifteen minute walk to the old town and La Rambla. I didn't see... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
