Unit itself was acceptable but the whole process was a nightmare!! No one is on the premises at all so have to make arrangements to meet on street as building is locked and cannot get in until they arrive and poor communication thru email because we had no international phone service during our stay so.....they did not show for appointed... We booked this a few months ago for a trip to Barcelona with some friends and our mum's.3 weeks before we were due to fly out we were shocked by the latest reviews. We were thinking the worst .We were asked to contact the agents when we landed at the airport as the apartments are not manned 24 hrs. We... More

"Problems with their machine" for payment have resulted in no deposit receipt or return, and double charging the credit card for the stay. Trying to sort this out after our trip home has been unsuccessful but travel insurance will cover the cost. The apartment we were given didn't match the description/photos that we booked. We can confirm other reviews that... More

One arrival at the airport we called Alcam to meet us at the apartment at 14:00. They arrived on time and promptly checked us in. The lady who welcomed us in was professional and got us to sign a contract that was in Spanish (this is the norm for all rental apartments in Barcelona, as far as I can tell).... More

Be careful that you read all of the conditions; we 'evidently' hadn't and were subject to a local government tax of 40 Euros and a deposit (refundable upon exit check of apartment) of £300. The apartment was clean and sheets were fresh. The beds were uncomforable. The location worked out to be good (a five minute walk to the Underground)... More

Be sure you have a phone that works in Barcelona and call them as soon as you land to reduce wait time. Neighborhood is okay and a supermarket is across the street. Short walk to Sagrada Familia. Everything in the apartment worked fine. Elevator available. Thought the rate was reasonable through Booking.com.

this is the crappiest apartment service I have ever stayed in. 1. We were told that the check-in is 24 hours. It is not! We waited for 50 mins for them to arrive. 2. They did not make a reservation of the apartment that we wanted. Instead, they gave us a really crappy apartment, far away from the city center.... More

I booked an apartment through Oh Barcelona. It was an attic apartment with a view of Tibidabo. I had searched for weeks to find the perfect place for my husband's 60th birthday and was really looking forward to sharing his birthday among the rooftops of Barcelona. When we arrived we were told that the apartment I had booked had no... More

We booked it in September for 1 night. Service was good. Location perfect, 3 min from Sagrada Familia and we could use the subway. Nice beds, suitable for 6-8 persons. Good value and free WiFi. Very clean and tidy. We recommend it highly and we can come again there! Parking places opposite the building costs 18 eur for 24 hours... More

The worst service I've EVER SEEN!!! Stay away from this crappy company!!! We were waiting with my wife and 1.5 years old baby for 5 hours in the middle of Barcelona to check-in (beside the fact that I had from them from beginning of Jul. my exact time of arrival, and never and no one informed me that the check... Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
