Myself and my partner stayed here in July 2013 and the hotel still hold a place in our hearts. This is a very Romantic hotel with bundles of character and unique features and would those interested in Boutique Hotels. We stayed in the Provenza room, with it's high ceilings, 1920s furniture and balcony with views of Paseo de Gracia, it... More

My husband and I visited Barcelona as our last stop in a 35 day trip through the French Pyrenees & Montserrat. We left our rental car at the airport & taxied into Barcelona. We wanted a "perfect location" to see the sights. This tiny boutique hotel was that, and much more. The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and... More

This cozy boutique b/b is located right in the best place to be; next to Paseo de Gracia and a few meters away from major Gaudì houses; from this location it is possible to walk to all major Barcelona's attractions, shopping, restaurants and night life. The atmosphere of the hotel is really unique and makes you feel home from the... More

Step outside onto your little balcony and look right: La Pedrera, one of the most iconic buildings in Barcelona is just a few feet away. Circa 1905 is on the first floor of one of these stylish old buildings that line the streets of the Eixample. The rooms are large enough, the beds are really great (yes, we are very... More

Loved the fantastic breakfast with variety of meats and cheeses, fruits, pastries and more. Location! Staff is very helpful and friendly with recommendations. Large library to unwind with a drink, read, or use WiFi. Open rooms with comfortable beds. Nothing to dislike about staying here, and will return.

Stayed 3 nights with my wife. Nice/clean room, and property. Comfortable room/place. Helpful staff that will make calls/reservations for you. And, they will make restaurant recommendations. One lunch place was outstanding, the dinner recommendation was good, nothing special (which was consistent with tripadvisor's review actually). Near two metro stops, one is 3 minute walk. Good value. Excellent location to get... More

Excellent-luxurious b&b. A rob and slippers are waiting for your comfort. The staff was very helpful. To the point of helping us with the our luggage. Very safe place. 2 security doors must be used before entering the flat. Very quiet. Large rooms! Looking out to the Main Street or to courtyard. In the center of one of the best... More

We spent 12 days exploring Barcelona and environs and could not have hoped for a better home base than Circa 1905. The location, in an upscale neighborhood, was ideal. Transportation was handy for excursions or when we tired of walking. Our lovely room with balcony, the helpful, genuinely kind staff and delicious breakfasts were all a bonus. We ate at... More

Circa 1905 was the PERFECT place to stay in BCN. Superb location and the staff is incredibly friendly & helpful. Adored the special Mallorca room with terrace. Every detail of the room and the entire place was very well done. Absolutely recommend this gorgeous and tranquil B&B!

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
