We arrived very late from Nice so we decided to just stay at the airport hotel. We got a great rate on the room through Expedia (80 Euro/night). The hotel was very nice - clean, big rooms, nice bathrooms. The biggest negative was getting there. Even though there is a shuttle to and from the airport, we arrived too late... more

Our travel agent booked the hotel for $285/ two nights near the airport because she probably made a profit from it but for us it wasn't worth it. We waited 45 minutes for the shuttle to pick us up, but we couldn't figure out why it took so long when the hotel is nearby. The cab to the city from... more

We had a great stay at this hotel. We requested an upper floor--we got the top floor. We requested early check in--no problem. We even requested extra feather pillows--they were there. The bathroom was great--loved the minty shampoo. The room was a nice size and clean--even liked the linoleum floors in the room--hotel room carpeting grosses me out. The bed... more

Had an eight hour layover, booked a "hotel airport" for convenience and a little sleep. Waited 30 minutes for shuttle; told by other shuttle drivers they stop earlier then other shuttles. Had to take a 25 euro taxi to hotel. The location is horrendous; at the intersection of a major airport feeder road and an industrial road; all night long... more

Dear client, * 25 euros taxi: it is told everywhere that you must phone the hotel and not to simply wait in the pick-up area, because Barcelona's Airport have 3 pick-up areas in different terminal zones. Anyway, hotel Alfa drives every 45 minutes per each pick-up area. * noisy environment: our hotel is totally soundproof-made, which is a must in...

1. Ramon, at the desk, has an attitude, and was incompetent in handling our check-in. 2. There were fires burning near Los Angeles, and I was concerned about our daughter's safety. I asked Ramon if there was a computer I could buy time on, or could use to contact my daughter. Snobbishly I was told the computer was down. When... more

I found the hotel quite lovely. Staff is exceptional and English speaking at the desk which was especially helpful to me as my Spanish is very rusty. The room and bath were great., exceptionally clean. First time I had used room key to activate electrical in my room - quite efficient! Dining room served excellent food (only had one dinner... more

Actually nicer than I expected. Great bathroom with a decent bedroom. We had 3 rooms for our party of 8. We all had morning flights and this was our best option. This hotel is only to be used as an airport pit stop. Enjoyed drinks and tapas in the lounge staffed by a pleasant young women. Used the free computer... more

Thank you for your stay in our hotel. We appreciate really much your comments. We verify the air conditioning filters three times per year and may be yours was scheduled in the next revision, so we apology for that. In a situation like this we recommend to phone to reception desk and they would have sent someone of our maintenance...

Just as I am compelled to write a glowing review for another hotel,I am absolutely driven to let everyone know of the poor service standard of this hotel. I arrived with a confirmed reservation on a Sunday night at 930pm with a 7 yr old daughter. The hotel staff had not bothered to look for a fax from the booking... more

We are sorry about the situation you had in our hotel. We always recommend clients to have a printed copy of the reservation in order to confirm it, even more when you make the reservation the day inmediatly before being weekend, but in this case the client had no identification at all to show us. We find some times clients...

Stayed here our last night to be near the airport for morning flight. Beautiful hotel, free wi-fi in lobby with computer and printer to print out boarding pass. Restaurant was excellent. Staff very friendly. Cost very reasonable. Drawback is that while there's an easy free shuttle to take you to and from airport, there is nothing else around for tourists.... more
