Stayed in the hotel just for one night during car travel to the north of Spain. In the hotel I enjoyed almost everything. Regina is located conveniently next to Plaza Catalunya, Las Ramblas street in its beginning. The room was large enough, all equipment worked fine. I can marked a very decent breakfast. Spent in the hotel only a few... More

I went with my family to spend 5 days in Barcelona during Easter. The price was premium so in all fairness I expected much more than I got. Ok, location cannot be better. It is located on a side street from Plaza Catalunya, in the beginning of La Rambla. The staff was really friendly and helpful and really went the... More

We stayed at this Hotel for a four night city break with two six year olds. Regina is fifty yds from the Placa De Catanluya and a prime location at the top of the Ramblas and in easy distance for the tourism bus stops and other attractions. On arrival, the welcome from Guille and Rafa was excellent and helped us... More

Great location in Plaza Catalunya. In the crossroads of metro, bus and walking distance to ramblas. Also easy for the hop on/hop off bus. The staff especially Guille on front desk was super helpful and amazing..definitely an asset to the hotel. Breakfast is very good and plenty of selection. Although there is renovation/construction going on...it did not bother us at... More

We booked a family room in this hotel for a post Disney Cruise stay in Barcelona. This was our family of four first time in Europe and we had no idea what to expect. I had visions of a tiny room, shared bathroom with other guests etc. What we got was a very nice sized family room that fit our... More

I had 3 nights in this hotel and overall really enjoyed it. There were 3 of us staying in a triple room and I had booked a room with 3 single beds. The first room we were given had a small third bed so I asked to change and we got a much nicer room instead. The staff were very... More

This hotel has a very good location. It's near la Rambla and Placa de la Catalunya. From here the hop on hop off busses starts. It's a good hotel and we had a very large room. We stayed at the first floor. The bathroom looked good, was clean, beautiful towels, bath, shower. The breakfast was good and we had a... More

I chose this hotel for a weekend getaway from the reviews on Trip Advisor. I was very happy with my choice upon arrival. We arrived past midnight and was welcomed with friendly smiles at the reception desk. I highly recommend taking the cheaper route of the Aerobus to the hotel as the hotel is a block from Placa de la... More

Good location. The rooms are fine but the communal areas are a disgrace and in desperate need of refurbishment. I've no idea how this place gets away with claiming to be 4 star!! Look elsewhere - there's much better value for money than this in Barcelona!!

Just back from a weekend in Barcelona with a group of friends. Hotel was in a fantastic location, just a couple of minutes walk from La Rambla, close to the ' Hop on/Hop off' buses, cafes, restaurants, shops etc. My friends and I had a triple room, set at the back with no view but it was quiet, unlike some... Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
