right in the middle of everything, Placa de Catalunya at end of street (50mtres away) and also to Las Ramblas (80 mtrs) metro across road, buses a stroll away at placa de catalunya, including Blue bus transfers from airport. Very clean, excellent staff very helpful and polite. Cafes everywhere around and McDonalds two minutes away.

I stayed in the hotel for 2 nights, the hotel is in a great location, very close to Los Ramblas. Rooms are very spacious with large bathrooms. The staff are wonderful, very friendly. Only minus was breakfast room was a bit too small for amount of guests.

Hotel Regina is a clean basic 4 star hotel in an excellent location just off Las Ramblas. Hotel staff are friendly and courteous. Fine hotel for a quick city break but if you're looking for something more upmarket then try their sister hotel, Pulitzer, next door.

Loved this hotel close to the city center. It had the softest towels ever, quiet, great complimentary breakfast, nice amenities, extremely helpful staff, and great location. Room was new and clean. Loved it!

Well situated by the Plaça de Catalunya, the hotel provided a good room with sensational bathroom. Both were scrupulously clean. The hotel wifi was extremely reliable and the aircon worked well. One downside (which did not bother me) was that the window in the room looked out on the back of the hotel and this side was covered by hoardings.... More

It was a good experience overall. Location was great, right in the heart of Barcelona, very close to Placa de Catalunya, Gothic Quarter and La Rambla, convenient for airport bus : Aerobus. Staff were friendly. Two downside points for us were : 1. wifi hardly works in the rooms, whether you are on the first floor or the fifth floor,... More

I had no idea where this hotel was when I booked it. I simply went according to reviews and wow, I was blown away. Not only was this a fantastic hotel, but it was right around the corner from Las Ramblas (the longest and oldest shopping/café and market street) in Barcelona. We were also walking distance from the Hop on,... More

My experience at the Hotel Regina was outstanding. Our arrival into Barcelona was early and we arrived around 9:00 in the morning thinking that we would just leave our luggage with them and check in later in the day. To our surprise, the front desk agent said that our room was ready and we were pleased to be able to... More

The reception staff were very welcoming, and we got a free welcome drink for booking through the website. The room was a reasonable size and very comfortable. At the back with a window looking out onto a brick wall, but at least it was very quiet & Barcelona is such a fantastic city, we weren't planning to be in the... More

Good hotel priced accordingly for its location within footsteps of the start of Las Ramblas and a metro stop. It was what we expected and nothing more. Elevators: two sets of small elevators, enough to fit one adult with perhaps two large suitcases, will zip you upstairs. During rush-hour, you could end up walking the stairs. Reception: The older gentleman... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
