I would recommend this hotel to everybody travelling to Barcelona. A few minutes walk from everything, really nice rooms and good service ..... and a very competitive price. We'll definately stay there again if/when we come back. more

Fantastic location just off the main Catalunya Square at the top of the Ramblas. The location is ideal for seeing the city whether walking, taking the tour busses or the Metro. Didn't get off to a great start as we were asked unfriendly desk clerk to "please wait 5 minutes" before we could check in. Location could not be better - quiet street but only short walk to main square, Ramblas and central loactions. Our room had limited natural light but loads of character. Excellent location, close to all the good stuff. Room is outdated and very spartan; same could be said for the hotel. But, at about 100 euros, it was a good value. Highly recommend having breakfast at Navarro's around the corner and down the street toward the Plaza Catalunya. I don't care much for the whole business of letting them hold... more
