This eclectic boutique hotel was right off Las Ramblas, with a short two minute walk to the Liceu metro station. It was an excellent location, close enough to all the hustle surrounding Placa Reial and the Mercat de la Boqueria but quiet at night to serve as a retreat from the day's events. Free WIFI was available, although the signal... More

I stayed at this hotel with a group of friends on a sightseeing trip. The location was ideal as the hotel was just a few metres from Las Ramblas in the Gothic quarter. Nearby were shops, bars and restaurants and it was only a short stroll to the marina at Port Vell. I found the reception staff very helpful and... More

We decided to spend a weekend in Barcelona, and considered the limited time available we opted for an accomodation in the center of the city. This hotel is wonderfully located, just nearby the metro station and in the hearth of gotic quarter. The hotel is quite neat, the room was not very big but more than enough, bathroom was clean... The location of this hotel is really good and it didn't get too noisy for being in the city centre either. A minutes walk will get you to Las Ramblas. Staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and looked ok. Breakfast was a bit of a let down but is included in the price. There are a... More

Had a wonderful stay. Room was very comfortable and spotless. My wide hates hotel rooms and she loved your room. The bath was very large and also spotless. Location was easy to find and near everything. Staff was very friendly and directed us the a great restaurant for dinner. Highly recommended.

Nice location, nice staff, but the hotel needs some updates. The bathroom had visible mold and the bed was rock hard. Very uncomfortable. The shower had great pressure and housekeeping was prompt. Breakfast was bland but serviceable. for longer trips it would get old fast. Street noise is ever present.

A colleague got a room which was very noise until three morning because of the shouting outside streets - even the room was on the 3rd floor. The staff was very friendly speakinking good English. Staying in Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighborhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
