We were there for a city trip in couple. We have experienced a perfect hotel in all but we heard the steps in neighbouring rooms and in the corridor very much. Perfect location. Great style. Good service. Etc

Beautiful communal areas, a decent bar and brilliant location but everything else just not good enough. Little but important things like not being shown up to our room with our bags on arrival, having to ask four times for the air conditioning in our room to be switched on and a cramped, ill-thought out bedroom with no storage, meant that... Stayed at Hotel Espana from 4/4/14 to 4/7/14. The hotel is located off of La Ramblas...a very busy place. The room was booked thru Expedia as King bed what we got was to two single beds side by side with all sheets etc tucked in individually! The shower glass door opening was very narrow due to large sink counter top.... More

This is a lovely old, character-filled hotel just off Las Ramblas. Despite being among the hustle and bustle of the neighbourhood the room was pretty sound proof and had great curtains that blocked out light and noise. The bedroom we had was small but perfectly adequate. No bath but that wasn't too much of a problem for us and had... More

A clean, refurbished, modern hotel in the heart of the La Rambla. Price was reasonable. We only stayed there for 2 nights, so we needed something central. Room was a good size with comfortable bed and good amenities. We would stay there again. Barcelona is a great city to visit, we will return

Stayed here for 5 nights, first visit to Barcelona. Hotel is down a small street off La Rambla so really centrally situated. Lovely building, very well restored with some interesting features such as the fireplace in the bar, and the mural on the wall in the restaurant. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, we didn't experience any who didn't speak... More

-Small rooms copare to price. -uncomfortable bed. -bar service was expencive but its worth it. -Some of the staff (not all) don't speak english which it's difficult for us. -Location is great, that every thing is near to you. -T.V selection was terrible. The charming hotel is integrated in a couple of old city houses and furnished with mordern furnitures. A very stylish combination. The staff is very friendly. We got an upgrade for an executive room with roof terrace. Its perfectly located to all the main sights. Its really worth an recomendation, Catharina

As title this hotel was perfectly situated for our visit, the staff are very helpful and friendly. It's a very interesting hotel, mixing old with contemporary very successfully, lots of very nice things to look at around hotel. Room we were given was a disabled room I would say but that was ok, although I felt that a normal room... More

I stayed here recently for a few days. The room was nice, not exactly big, but it was clean and everything you would need. The bathroom was large, but it could do with a shelf to put your make up on. The breakfast was a rip off but they always are in big hotels so that wasn't a real issue.... More
