The location is right on Las Ramblas, so you will experience some noise if your room fronts the street. The streets were busy day and night with large crowds of people. The people of course became noisier as the night progressed with the noisiest at about 3am. The hotel has a lovely breakfast.

The hotel is very quant and very clean. The front desk staff is professional and informative. I love that they have luggage storage which is very helpful. The rooms I have stayed in were very clean and well furnished. I am in a power wheelchair and it can be tricky to get up into the entrance but it can be... More

If you're looking for a base from which to explore Barcelona then check out hotel lloret. Step through the front door onto the hustle and bustle of la ramblas. Our room had comfy beds (although twin beds rather than double), a bathroom with a great shower and plenty of hot water and a small balcony. A basic breakfast is included... More

The hotel is on the block of Las Ramblas nearest Catalunya plaza ( where the Areobus drops you from the airport). The view from the street is a double glass door with a marble staircase immediately inside. It's a charming older building with small European style rooms. The rooms all have en suite bathrooms. Ours is a bit smaller than... More

A friend and I in our late 60's stayed here for 4 nights. So near the aerobus stop and all the transport links to move around the city. We had room 106 on the second floor overlooking Las Ramblas. It was so noisy all night/morning. Asked to be moved to the back of the hotel but no rooms but was... More

It is perfectly located at the beginning of the Ramblas, very close to the Catalunia Square but rooms are unbelievably tiny. The personnel is very friendly and helpful and breakfast is very average but o.k. in a such an expensive city like Barcelona. It is a very good choice for its location and price if you do not mind of... More

The last time i went to Barcelona, i stayed in a spa hotel an hour out, and this time around, wanted to be in the heart of Barcelona. Hotel Lloret was on La Rambla and perfect for my time there. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was small, but the bed was extremely comfortable. I was not... More

Hotel Loret has everything you need. Perfect location, clean comfortable rooms, helpful staff and a great price. The only thing I would have liked was to be able to get a cup of tea first thing but that's not a criticism. Planning on staying there again this year. So much to see in Barcelona a week wasn't long enough! Highly... More

For the cost this was a real bargain. Clean, pleasant room with small balcony overlooking Ramblas and Place Catalunya. The location cannot be bettered....close to all local transport and tourist info etc. Some customers were put off by the vibrant location but a little noise is a small price to pay for such a location. The staff at the hotel... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
