THis hotel is ideally situated at the top end of La Rambla just 100 metres from Placa Catalunya. This is where the open top tour buses depart, the Metro stations are and the buses from the airport stop. It could not be in a better location. Surrounded by restaurants, shops and bars. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and... More

This hotel is in such a great location - literally moments from the metro, lots of great food options, a supermarket, and Placa Catalunya where the Aerobus leaves from. Our room was clean and tidy though did have an odd smell (I wonder if it was from the moisture build up after every shower as there was no exhaust fan).... More

Location is near all public transportation and a short walk to many sites and restaurants. Breakfast was good. The hotel is on the Ramblas, a very busy street, so noise is a factor. Room walls are poorly insulated so you will hear neighbors.

Located in Las Rambles this hotel is a located just a two blocks form the airport bus and right down the street form a metro stop making it an ideal location. You are just two block from the market and there's a fantastic gelato shop right next door and many nearby restaurants. The hotel is clean and serves a nice... More

Very cheap hotel, the linens are all clean, with wifi. You can find lots of restaurant and bar. Near to the plaza, with lots of hop in and out tourist bus. You can take a walk in Ramblas Street going to shore line. Very interesting tourist spots. We find a FilipinonRestaurant

Hotel was quite dirty and the room cleaning was very bad. Our room needed urgentiy remodeling, very urgent. The reception was okay. Breakfast was the same exact food for four days, and was quite poor also. The hotel is badly for it´s location, it´s a shame.

I've stayed in quite a few hotels in Barcelona and this is a great budget option. The location is ideal, right on la Ramblas and 2 minutes from Catalunya square. I encountered two staff- both very friendly, spoke great English and happy to help. My room was small and basic but very clean, comfy bed, nice shower, toiletries provided and... More

Great location over looking la Rambla! Nice breakfast which was an added bonus to the bargain price we paid. Our room faced onto la Rambla and yes it can be noisy but we loved the atmosphere! I would return to this hotel and would recommend as its a great budget break!

The location of this hotel is good, that's where it ends! Bath was rusty, rooms tiny and rudest most unprofessional staff we have ever encountered! We were late for breakfast as we thought it finished at 11 but it finished at 10.30. All the food was still laid out and no one about so we didn't think it a problem... More

Staying in La Rambla

Neighborhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-meter boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetizing selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
