My girlfriend and I loved this hotel. It is very central. It's on the top of the Ramblas near the most important square of Barcelona. IIt is always full of life so be prepared to hear a lot of noise from the streets. We really enjoyed it!

We thought the staff were very friendly and obliging. The internet was very poor - slow and kept dropping out - in this day and age it one of the things that I just do not find acceptable! The room was small but considering the location and the price - it was OK.

Hotel is located at the top of Las Ramblas, plenty of activity at night and day,the hotel itself is nice but basic, and met most of our needs, EXCEPT our bedroom, room no 218, it was small and at the back of the hotel ,it was like an after thought ,there was 3 of us in it and it was quite... More

Room was extremely tidy and also spacious enough for two people. The staff was extremely friendly especially the receptionists. Location couldn't be more central, where there were a lot of shops and restaurants in walking distance, as well as Placa Catalunya. Beaches were reachable by bus, of which bus stop is in front of the hotel. Can't wait to visit... More

Well 11 late 30s/early 40s descend with some trepidation to Barcelona - the first thing that can break the spirit is a bad hotel... this hotel was good thankfully.... they do real triple rooms (3 separate beds)... it is bang on Las Ramblas (there is a good bar 5 minute North called La Taverna - we watched Chile beat Argentina... First of all we missed the entrance to the hotel even although we knew where to expect to see it as the entrance is very small and not very noticeable. We arrived at 12 noon and left our luggage as couldn't check in until 3pm (which is fair enough). Checking in was easy as man on reception spoke good English.... More

Group of 6 stayed at Hotel Lloret in Barcelona in June 2015 prior to embarking on a cruise. Very good location, front desk people were friendly, rooms were small but clean and functional. Best of all was location. Right in the middle of everything! Great place to stay and I recommend. Price was right as well.

Got to the hotel to be told they had lost our booking. But we got upgraded to an apartment with a kitchen from a triple room so I wasn't complaining. The only downfall was we had to walk to the hotel for breakfast as the apartment was around the corner. Apart from that they were very helpful and sounded very... More

Great location, 5 minute walk from the bus & subway station & right in the heart of the action on La Rumbla. Modern room in a historic building & it even had a real double bed rather than 2 twins pushed together as is common. The only complaint is the way Europe handles room keys...they attach a big ring to... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
