The hotel is in a very good location, 50m from La Ramble, near to the sea and metro station. The room is very small, but can be compromised with the price. But Wi-Fi connection was very poor. TV is very small and there were no English channels son entertainment while relaxing after a day’s roaming is null. There was no... More

We arrived early morning, room was ready within few minutes. Clean room. Small. Fresh and clean towels. Reception was under renovation. We had our breakfast in the restaurant. Very limited options. Good free wifi. Full city is covered by free wifi. Which is great ! Great location. Near to metro station. Working distance to most of the attractions. Will be... More

We arrived at 10 PM and were met by a man in the staff that was more interested in his iPhone than in his guests. He told us that someone else was coming to check us in and went back to his phone. Not a great start! 10 minutes later another man came, this time a very friendly and helpful... More

I had booked myself at another hotel, which i last minute, ended up replacing with Fernando, as friends suggested that it was better to stay in the city centre.. The Good Things first - The place is extremely well location, Las Ramblas being heavily recommended to be based out of.. The eating options, being a vegetarian, was a major issue... More

Great little budget hotel just next to the Ramblas avenue. The reception people are very nice ,they speak french & English fluently and are always available, smiling and helpful for any questions you may have. Breakfast is simple but enough to start the day and if you do not like it, there are lots of other choices around. They have... More

We stayed 3 nights in this lovely hostel which is rather a hotel. Reception and service staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was small but very comfortable and spotless clean. Bathroom in perfect order with a great and powerful shower. We had a lot of luggage which we could store for free in huge lockers near the reception.... More

The localization is awesome and Barcelona a great place for you to visit. The only con with this hostal is its bedrooms, yet good value for money! I really enjoyed attendance as they were very polite and always very helpful.

The location is perfect, the staff is very friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and the breakfast was ok for a middle class Hostal. There is some noise during the evening and night. I would stay there again.

Staying in Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighborhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
