I booked this hotel on-line for a short break in Barcelona. As well as being very convenient for all the sights, the hotel was very clean, comfortable and welcoming. To top it all, there were tea and coffee making facilities in the spacious bedroom. The solarium on the roof was just coming into its own again after the winter. I... More

Really enjoyed staying at this hotel. We were lucky to get a room on the 5th floor which was a club floor where we got free pastries and coffee every day and a chocolate every evening brought to our room (bit hilarious but nice all the same). Pool on roof terrace a bit cold but still nice for a dip... More

Great location to stay ay right in the heart of the city with Placa Catalunya just a few minutes away. Rooms are modern and comfortable and the staff is friendly and helpful. Have stayed here twice before and keep going back!! So that says enough!!

The Gran Havana was recommended by a business I was visiting. The location can't be beat! It's within walking distance of the Sagrada Familia, Picasso Museum, Las Ramblas and the Barri Gotic. With one exception, the front desk was very helpful in getting us settled and giving information. Our room was on a club floor, so we had a coffee/tea... More

Dear Guests, We are very happy to know that you enjoyed your stay with us and thank you for sharing your experience with the community of Tripadvisor travelers. Extra services of our CLub floor are well appreciated by our guests because it offers coffee, pastries and fruit during the day. From spring, you can already enjoy the Pool UP gastro-bar... More

This hotel is in a fabulous location it is close to all the main attractions that the city has to offer and most within walking distance. We covered a fair share of the city from walking and using the tour bus. We arrived via train from the airport and walked a few blocks to the hotel and this was really... More

Hotel is in a very good central location surrounded by shops and restaurants. Room was spotless, fantatically dark curtains and room was a good size. Staff were great. Only issues we encountered was having a window over a taxi rank, which meant chit chat noise woke us up at some unseemly hours. Can't comment on breakfast or the leisure facilities... More

This central hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from the "Aerobus" service from Barcelona's airport; it's also located close to a number of famous sights such as Gaudi's townhouses. So overall the location cannot be faulted. The room was well-appointed and comfortable, with a decent mattress and, as it was on the fourth floor, had a nice view of the... More

Everything was great. This was my second visit to this hotel - the first time was in 2012 and then we were very pleased also. Barcelona is a wonderful place - many attractions, beautiful architecture, wonderful atmosphere.

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
