Excellent city centre position with good access to all travel links. Room was extremely large and comfortable. Staff were very helpful at all times. Would happily return to this hotel if back in Barcelona.

My sister and I stayed at this hotel 3 nights in January 2015. We couldn't have been happier. Re. the Hotel itself: The room was clean, the shower had great water pressure, and the bed was very comfortable. The rooftop pool would probably be amazing in the summer, too. The temp was too cold for swimming while we were there,... More

Strengths: Excellent location near Placa Catalunya (including easy bus access from the airport), a wide selection for breakfast, fast and reliable free WiFi, helpful and efficient staff. Weaknesses: Room infrastructure needs upgrade.

We selected this hotel after reading numerous reviews of central hotel rooms being too noisy or too small, poor location, etc. This one was a good compromise on all those things tending to be true of city hotels. If you are able bodied, the location is great. Las Ramblas, Metro, train station, hop on hop off bus, shopping, restaurants, etc.... More

My wife and I stayed here from January 4th, through to January 9th and really enjoyed our stay. The location of the hotel is excellent, a short stroll to Passeig De Gracia, Playa De Catalunya and Las Ramblas; in fact we walked nearly everywhere, the only exception being a taxi to Sagrada Familia which we caught from right outside the... This hotel is well located - walking distance to Las Ramblas and close to metro to get around the city for major attractions. It's clean and comfortable. The room felt a bit muggy because the windows don't open and there was no AC. But in general, a good extended weekend.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff, facilities at time of visit quite limited (but to be fair it was winter so main attraction of roof top pool was obviously closed). 10 minute walk to Place de Catalunya/ Ramblas (but a pleasant one). Easy travel to airport with Aerobus (to/ from both terminals 1 or 2) at €5.90 per trip, which takes about... More

Just got back from an amazing time. we found this hotel really went the extra mile. I had booked it for my husbands 60th birthday and on arrival we had a bottle of champagne waiting for us in our room which we found very thoughtful. We also booked the new year eves party which was amazing, the waiters were so... More

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights from the 14th December . We have stayed in Barcelona four times now, and I can honestly say that this is the best hotel we have stayed in. Well situated and lovely staff especially in the dining room. There are only 2 complaints , firstly we had to ask for milk... More

No complaints what so ever, excellent location, we had a room on the 6th floor with a terrace, bathrobes and slippers " a touch of luxury " are provided. A bar pool and sauna are located on the roof, the smell of food and from Barcelona whilst on the roof really gets you in the holiday mood, we never ate... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
