This B&B is located close to the Passeig de Gracia area full of shops, dining and tour bus stops as well as Gaudi's famous Batllo house. It is tucked away securely on the 2nd floor of the building and offers simple but comfortable accommodation for singles, doubles and small families. An elevator is available if required. Rooms are clean and... More

I had an evening layover in Barcelona three months ago and this was an ideal choice. It's walking distance from the Metro and fairly easy to find given it's location off the main road Carrer d'Arago. The B&B is inside a building up a few flights of stairs but there is also an elevator for those with luggage. I arrived... More

Confirm that the hospitality here is truly catalan and the house is typical of the architecture of the Eixample quartier, including the original tiles on the floor. Breakfast is excellent considering the 'B&B' profile. Could have given 5 stars for these things, the (single) room given to me faced a dusty and unclean internal hole of the building, next to... We (4 friends) stayed in Tripledos during Champions league match Barca vs AS Roma(great match as Barca won 6:1 :), for 2 nights in 2 app. Appartment building is perfect centered close to University, Placa Catalunya and Gaudis masterpieces La Pedrera/Casa Batló with 5-10 minutes in walking distance away. Apartments were clean, and very good refurbished with really cozy atmosphere.... More

A great hotel in a great location, 10 minutes walk to La Ramblers and about 25 minutes walk to the port. The room was very clean and had the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in in a hotel. The staff are very attentive and helpful, informing us where to visit and where to avoid. Would definitely recommend this hotel

Wonderful! Well appointed, cozy. good and comfortable beds and brand new linens. Simply decorated but with taste in a modern style Walking distance to almost everywhere of interest, and if you do not want to walk, plenty of transportation nearby. Safe neighbourhood, lots of nice restaurants and cafes around Great continental breakfast ( don't expect eggs or sausages, but you get... More

We stayed 6 nights in Tripledos in august. Our room was spaceous, own terrace. The B&B has a superb terrace where breakfast is served. The location is perfect to visit Barcelona on foot: Pedrera, Sagrada Familia, Batllo, Rambla, Barri Gotic within walking distance. Nice museum Tapies in 5 minutes. All elements combined with a correct price: value for money.

We stayed at Tripledos from 28 June to 3 July. Our stay was quite pleasant as we found the room and breakfast adequate. Rooms were spacious enough and clean towels were provided daily. The apartment is close to bus and train station which we found very convenient. It must be mentioned that balcony rooms are the best. One couple was initially... More

Nice BnB in 150 years old apartment in the centre of Barcelona. Stayed there for 4 nights, room is clean, breakfast very good. There is a possibility of making yourself tea or coffee all day long. Interior is A++ and a lot of it has been saved since old days such as old doors and painted ceilings. Staff is really... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
