The Avenida Palace is a great old hotel in a perfect locaiton in Barcelona walking distance from many great attractions. Rooms were lovely and the buffet breakfast was very good. The reason for 4 and nto 5 stars- was it was a bit shabby and could use a face lift. All in all- an excfllent bet in Barcelona. More

Very conveniently placed, with most of the major tourist attractions within walking distance.
