My review is going to be fact based as I liked this hotel but there are some cons: The hotel has a good location with a 5-10 minute walk to Espanya Metro station, bus stops, restaurants and a shopping mall. Breakfast was continental style with a wide variety, however it was pretty average tasting food, nothing spectacular. The staff were... More

We stayed here for two nights. It was easy to find here, but it was quite far away from the centre. The staff were friendly. Our room was okay, but it could have been a little bit cleaner and it was a bit noisy due to poor soundproofing. The breakfast was otherwise fine with large selection, but the plates were... More

I was not sure what to expect as got a last minute package deal. Great room, clean. Breakfast was great and the coffee lovely. The staff were friendly and there is lots to do near the hotel. The Metro is not far away if you want to go see the tourist sights, but the magic fountain and art gallery near... More

stayed here with another couple in June, had a smashing weekend in this beautiful city. Hotel is good vaue for money ,polite staff, clean rooms, good breakfast, and quiet road. It is conveniently placed for visiting sights and airport shuttle bus stop is just closeby in plaza espanya.Would recommend anyone looking for good value basic accommodation.

The very best thing about Barcelona is that it's only a 3 hour train ride to one of the most beautiful and interesting cities in all Europe....Valencia. The best thing about Eco Sant Angelo Hotel is that there is absolutely nothing to complain about. It's really very nice in every regard. It seems like it's an easy ten minute stroll... More

The hotel was clean and nice with a fridge, tv and telephone but no blow dryer or ironing board. the hotel staff were super friendly and allow you to store your bags there if needed once you check out. the only downside was the location was too long to walk to many of the main areas of Barcelona so we... A lovely clean and comfortable hotel with good facilities, friendly staff and excellent underground parking, however if you are wanting to be near the city centre and La Rambla then be prepared to walk for approx 30 minutes. If you enjoy city centre strolling then this would be a good choice for you, if you can't or don't want to... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
