Hi there, We stayed in this hotel during our May 2015 weekend trip to Barcelona. Hotel was surprisingly high standard to our previous experience, it was actually better than 4 star hotel we had in Rome, Italy, last year. Room had working air conditioning, it was keeping our room cool and nice refreshed in the nights. WiFi was working very... More

My mrs booked us a weekend away in Barcelona to watch a match at the Camp Nou and we stayed in the Eco Sant Angelo. From the outside and in its location you expect it to be an average mid range travel lodge kind of cheap and cheerful hotel. But from the minute you walk in the glass doors you... More

Hotel was what we expected for price, however room 509 was so small. On check in we asked if we could have an outside room, having read the reviews, but one wasn't available. The room was ok, but because we had an inside window I struggled because the room was so hot. The air con was rubbish, however the continental... More

Nice, clean and cozy hotel near Arena Barcelona and Magic Fountains. Good service and helpful staff. We did like our stay there. Not in main road so not too much traffic. Easy to go everywhere from there. Metro is not far, busses even closer.

Approx 20 mins walk from Las Ramblas... This hotel offered clean rooms, good breakfast and excellent value for money. The reception staff were very helpful and pleasant. Will definitely consider staying here again on our next visit to Barcelona

I hate to rate this so low but it is a barely average hotel. The staff was incredibly nice but they are limited to what the hotel offers. My husband's company put us in this hotel for a convention. It is not the type of hotel I would have ever considered. We went to Barcelona early and I booked a... More

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, it is basic and clean. When we checked in we realised that the safe was not working and were intermediately transferred to another room, The second room was bigger and brighter and was away from the street. There is free WiFi in the hotel. I was disappointed that there were no tea... More

My review is going to be fact based as I liked this hotel but there are some cons: The hotel has a good location with a 5-10 minute walk to Espanya Metro station, bus stops, restaurants and a shopping mall. Breakfast was continental style with a wide variety, however it was pretty average tasting food, nothing spectacular. The staff were... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
