This is an apartment hotel which means that you have kitchen facilities with ability to cook and dine in your room. Our room was large and had very nice bathroom. Be aware that they do not make up the room everyday nor change the towels. Fresh towels are available at the front desk. The staff was helpful and Eli was... More

We stayed here in mid May 2015 for one night as a transit stop before boarding our cruise. The location is right in the heart of the city with most attractions either within walking distance or a short & relatively cheap taxi ride away including the cruise terminal. The room was quite large with a kitchenette ( if you wish to... The best thing about the hotel is the location. Room size is pretty big and location is on Las Ramblas, near Plaza Catalunya. We came from the airport, so we took the Aerobus which stopped at Plaza Catalunya (there's a bus every 5 min or so), and walked to the hotel. It wasn't a problem to find it. The hotel... More

Fabulous location on the Las Rambles ..... Close to main Central Park, many must see sights of Gaudi , Picasso Museum, Barri Gothic area, great tapa places, grocery shopping...one across the street, another a few blocks down on Las Rambles.... Will blow you away! Service at hotel wonderful, room nice, turn the fan on to drown out noise from outside.... More

Overall a nice and modern hotel situated on upper part of the Ramblas. The rooms were spacious for European standards and seemed to be recently renovated. We stayed in the 2nd tower, in the back of the hotel, so it was surprisingly quiet considering the location on a very busy street. Also, metro/R-train entrance and bus stops are nearby the... More

My wife and I stayed at the Citadines Ramblas Barcelona from May 18th-22nd. We had booked a double room for the stay. We arrived around 3pm and check-in was relatively easy.....until we got into our room. It was a twin room, not a double. We went downstairs to tell them that they had given us the wrong room but were... More

From the moment we stepped out of our taxi we knew we made the right decision to stay at Citadines Ramblas. The reception staff was efficient and helpful. They will store your baggage if your room is not ready, call you a taxi, provide maps and directions. Located right on La Ramblas and the old city, with a wonderful (and... More

The hotel reception team was very warm and welcoming. This hotel is located centrally and just 3-4 minutes walk from the train station (Liceu). The rooms are very spacious and well decorated. The central location of this hotel allows you to cover most attractions on foot. Plenty of shops and super markets around if you need anything at the last... More

The best part about this hotel is its location. It is situated in the heart of Las Ramblas with the hustle bustle of shops, restaurants and bars. The rooms are spacious and well equipped however it is important to note that this is an apart-hotel (apartment hotel) so cleaning of the room comes at a cost (20€) we were not... More

Staying in La Rambla

Neighborhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-meter boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetizing selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
