Nice neighborhood, very well maintained, rooftop pool with bar, walking distance to almost everything important in Barcelona. Get the feeling to have an hotel in downtown without all the noise and the circulation.

We stayed here for 4 nights on a bed and breakfast basis. The hotel is well situated 10 mins walk from the center. The rooms are spacious and have a separate bathroom and dressing area. Wi- fi is pretty good and free. The room also has a safe included. The a/c isn't up to much and was left on continuous... More

I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights and was very satisfied with it. The room was large, with a balcony onto the street below. This was a nice surprise, although it did mean the room was quite noisy as we were on the first floor. The location was perfect to get around the city, without being in the hustle... More

Overall great hotel at an affordable price. Clean well maintained. HOWEVER as an international guest on business hotel falls short in few areas. First they will charge you 5 euro per hour to check in early if a room is available. Upon my checkin at about 10am I was told no rooms are available and then all of a sudden... More

Good hotel. Large rooms. Friendly staff. Free wifi, EXCEPT for the lobby-use computer w/ printer which charges 5Euros for 10minutes. The location is a 10 minute walk from Catalunya Metro station. Bring your own face towels. Hotel only supplies large towels. No clothing iron to use. There's a minibar in the room, but I wish they had a microwave, too.... More

I am lying in my very comfortable bed writing this review. The room is nicely appointed, spotless, everything you would expect for the price. The hotel common areas are lovely, as are the staff. My issue is with the noise (room 123) I can hear the neighbouring room noise, in fact it is so loud, the snoring woke me up... More

I saw a 4-star rating even though most have it as a 3-star. 4-star is correct. I mainly selected it because of location but the hotel is great. Modern, roomy, pool, sauna and bar on the roof terrace. My only negative is that the restaurant does not serve dinner (they close at 4pm). But, there is a limited menu in... More

We stayed here for moto gp and found it to be ideal location... bus station 3 blocks away to get to circuit. Quiet location, polite and helpful staff, rooms were fabulous. I have read comments of no coffee/tea facilities in the rooms but we had these facilities in ours. Taxi rank outside so convenient for airport etc. If we return to... More

We stayed here for three nights in April. The hotel was very clean, comfortable and well located - just 10 minutes walk to Placa de Catalunya but far enough away to ensure it was quiet at night for a good night's sleep. We only ate breakfast in the hotel on one occasion which was a buffet style with lots of... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
