4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

A clean and modern hotel located close to the Arc de Triomf metro. We switched to NH Podium after spending two nights at a really bad hotel (more like a hostel) near the Ramblas. What a relief! The rooftop terrace is super nice. I can imagine it's even better when the weather allows a swim in the pool. Our room... More

We would recommend the Barcelona Podium hotel the room was very clean but could do with redecorating. The staff are helpful but could do with a little more local knowledge, eg. should know where all tourist information locations are. As with all nh hotels we have stayed in the breakfasts are excellent. The location for tourist hotspots is very good

We paid £112 per night for four nights for a double room which i suppose is reasonable. Our room was modern and clean, However the hotel facilities dont match up to the decription they give on line. The pool is dirty, the sauna does not work, only one of the weight machines in the gym work and the cardio machines are... Had a very nice stay at the hotel. Friendly staff, nice location and a very nice bar and pool at the top terasse. Clean room every day. The best experience for me was the terasse on the roof. This is a hotel i would recomend for other people to stay at. We had a great time in Barcelona and the... More

we did enjoy our stay in this hotel. Clean modern rooms, nice bar, great location. it was nice to have afternoon swim in the roof swimming pool. The hotel's location is away from noisy streets but we still could walk to a lot of main attractions.

At €250 per night this is probably the worst value we've had on our many travels. The service was generally minimal and bordering on unfriendly. We arrived with quite a bit of luggage as we were travelling for 5 weeks through varying climates but there was no assistance with luggage whilst trying to park outside in a busy street in... More

We stayed at this hotel for an anniversary - did e mail ahead to say on anniversary and was disappointed that we had single beds on arrival ! However quickly changed room for us. I wanted to stay in an older style hotel with the bonus of a welcoming roof terrace and pool after a day's walking and this hotel... More

Stayed here for a long weekend. Great hotel, very clean facilities and rooms with helpful staff. The location is just great quiet enough to get a good night sleep but only 5-10mins walk from everything. The only thing to improve our stay would have been an iron in the room. Other than that great value.

Large modern rooms (we had a Standard double and it was plenty sizeable). Moreover they're well equipped with all you need - great coffee machine :) lovely pool area. Great location - quiet but right by placa Catalunya. Have to mention too the friendly and helpful staff. They even purchased the big boxing match since a couple of people had... More

The hotel is located in walking distance form Placa de Catalunya where the aerobus form the airport has the final stop, it takes all together less then 45 minutes to get there form the airport. The hotel remembers better times, the rooms are not huge, but clean, breakfast served from 7 am is nice selection, the restaurant serves great food.... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
