We stayed at this hostal for 3 nights and found it to be quiet and relaxed. The guys that work there were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was a good size with a small balcony, very clean, as was the shared bathroom, I would say don't let the shared bathroom put you off, this is the 3rd shared bathroom... More

We stayed a night on a private room with its own bathroom. Besides the room was nice, it was completely humid. Not only you could feel it on the smell of the room but also observing that the bathroom was never dry! We think that this occured cause the rooms are all manufactured, so the bathrooms are not originally real... More

Thank you. We exactly don't know what is the relationship between a "manufactured bathroom" (in fact, we don't know what this concept is) and a "never dry" bathroom". As we don't understand what you mean with this, please send us an email explaining us what was the situation, specially the "manufactered bathroom" concept, we are very curious. Thank you! More

I stayed in la Isla hostal while travelling alone - this is a great place to stay if you want a clean, quiet, central hostel. FACILITIES: It is basic (as expected for the price) but facilities were good, with sink in each room, towel provided, TV etc. Bathrooms were very clean, the shower was hot and powerful (always good!), tea... I've stayed 3 nights in La Isla and had a great time. Perfect location, just 10-15 minutes from the Centre and 2 min to the nearest metro station. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful, gave me all the directions and tips I needed. Free Wi-Fi. Also great value for money. I will definitely... More

My wife and I backpacked around Europe this past summer, and this hostel sticks out in my mind as being a cut above the rest. It was everything we asked for - clean, spacious, new, cheap..... don't stay anywhere else in Barcelona! It is walking distance from Las Ramblas and right next to the Arc de Triomph Metro stop. The... More

This is a relatively new hotel (at least I think it is) located fairly close to the Arc de Triomf and about a 15 – 20 minute walk to Catalunya. The hostal is located on the first floor of an old building and only has a few rooms. The rooms also tend to be small and only 2 of them... More

Dear, Thanks for your comment. Reception doesn't opens sporadically; it opens everyday, as there are several tasks to be done, such as daily cleaning, public attendance, etc. We previously arrange with our guests their arrival time. Single rooms have fan, which is already advised on all our adversited websites. Barcelona is a lovely city, but it might get very hot... More

Staff is very friendly, they clean the room every day, bed is big and comfortable, everything is very cozy, bathroom is big and good, small kitchen if you can call it so – microwave, coffee, tea, refrigerator, center of the city – everything is in a walking distance, metro in 1 min walk. There’s so little space in a room... More

Dear guest, thanks for your review. We have bigger rooms and also with street views, unfortunately for this time you couldn't try it this time. Be sure that next time you visit our city, you can ask us so we'll assign you one of them. For the hot water, a hint: the shower beside your room has the hot water... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
