This was a fabulous location for our girls week in Barcelona. When visiting for a few days, I like a nice hotel, but if my visit is anymore than 3 days, I always try to find an apartment. Centrally located, with a view and a bathtub are the three things I look for when searching. The interior was modern, hip... More

I'm tempted not to give a good review, I would be devastated if there was no room for me next time I'm in Barcelona. We stayed in 841 and it was wonderful. Huge apartment, loads of toiletries, towels. Two massive rooftop terraces, everything you could think of was available. The Casa Batllo is across the road and La Pedrera was... More

my friends and I stayed here for three nights in August2014. It was complete luxury, cool, fantastic location, very well equipped and stylish. Two bathrooms - essential for six 'BarcaBelles' getting ready to go out at the same time! We spent many hours, on the balcony, people watching, chatting and enjoying the local vino - the only downside was that... More

Apartments Sixtyfour was a great location for our four nights in Barcelona. Metro stations nearby for easy access to transport and many restaurants and cafes in walking distance. Staff very helpful with local knowledge and tips. Feedback left at the end of our stay in relation to some minor fixes that were required in the unit (bathroom door handle loose... More

A huge apartment, in a well maintained block. The street oozes sophistication and class and this apartment fits in beautifully. There is nothing to fault it. Expect noise as this is a very busy street, but its a very small price to pay for being on this wealthy street, with views of Casa Batllo by Gaudi.

We just came back from a six night stay at Apartments Sixtyfour. We were assigned a penthouse unit, with a beautiful views of Gaudi building. Apartment had everything to make our stay as at home. It is true these are "no staff" on site apartments. However, with a little bit of effort one can find the manager, and he was... More

The apartment itself was okay for the price, but it is really a short-term let, and not a hotel with appropriate staff. When I arrived at 2 pm on a Sunday, the front door was locked and no one answered the doorbell. I had to call their "emergency" number long-distance from my mobile. Though someone showed up from next door... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
