We have stayed here with our toddler son and then booked the hotel for my elederly parents separately . They were great in terms of giving information and the sightseeing advice. Since we couldn't really go out for dinner, they pointed out places for takeaways. My parents had a great time too and were well taken care of.

I stayed in this hotel with my three children ages 20,18,12. A fantastic place to stay right in the heart of Barcelona 5 mins from La Rambla. We had a quad room which was very spacious and spotlessly clean ( 321B first floor). The two ladies in reception every morning were extremely helpful and booked trips for us to Camp... More

A lovely traditional hotel in a fantastic location- couldn't have asked for more. The rooms are not the biggest, but are clean and have everything you need- who goes to a beautiful city like Barcelona to sit in their room anyway?! Breakfast was quite a spread with plenty of choice, and unlike most other hotels, they do not start clearing... More

This is quaint little hotel with lots of HEARTS. Basic but comfortable rooms and facilities. Near the Rambles and walking distance of the beach. Great eating places. Increadibly helpful staff especially a lady called Amparo. Happen to loose my passport but did not realise until booking in at the hotel, she went out of her to contact the airport police... More

Booked this hotel because of it's traditional appearance and it's location and we were not disappointed. The furniture and décor are charming and the staff were welcoming and helpful. A good continental-style breakfast. Our room was quite small and faced on to walls around a dark courtyard but we weren't there for the view from the hotel. Our only minor... More

Me and my girlfriend stopped here in July for 5 nights we arrived to a very friendly receptionists who checked us in and gave us our room key,the hotel itself is outdated and needs revamping as it's in a good location just off la rambla(main street in Barcelona) our room was fairly small and had a mini fridge were it... Stayed at this hotel 4 times over a number of years. Always found the staff very nice an helpful an the rooms very clean an well taken care of. Yes it's old fashioned but that's it's charm. If you want a generic faceless room go stay at holiday inn. It's location is great an it's an ideal base to explore.... More

The room we were given was very old, very small, dark with furniture that was weatherbeaten. We could barely move and had little room for our suitcases. the front desk people were very unaccommodating. They could not even open the front door for use even though we were carrying large suitcases and we are very senior citizens. There was no... More

This was my second time staying at this hotel. I had stayed there 15 years ago. It has not changed in 15 years (decor is still the same). I actually think that it has not changed in 50 years. There are 2 reasons why I would not stay. First, although location is close to Ramblas, it is on the wrong... More

This was a homely sort of cosy hotel. Carved wood and rustic painted furniture. The room and en suite was very cosy: mini bar, TV and air conditioned. Fine if you don't mind sidling round the bed and do not want to look out of the window. No idea what level of room we had, but realised as we glanced... More
