Casa Gracia is a beautiful and very thoughtfully designed hotel/ hostel. The staff was wonderful, especially in the bar and restaurant. The room was clean, modern, pretty, and well equipped. The private bathroom was especially nice. We stayed as a couple and really enjoyed the restaurant and the lounge/ bar in the basement for breakfast tapas, and drinks. The breakfast... More

Really enjoyed my stay here with two friends in a triple bed room - clean rooms with a beautiful view and balcony, not expensive, great location 20 minutes walk from the beach, and friendly staff. There is a great bar in the cellar and a restaurant attached, worth a visit. As it was my friend's birthday during our stay they... More

Stayed here for 3 nights back in November, i wOuld say this is more like a basic hotel than a hostel. The location is about 15 minutes walk away from les rambles. Rooms are of a decent size we had a 3 person room. Theres a nice liitle cocktail bar downside which i would recommend too, Free wifi was also... More

Not too pricey, clean and in good location. We had a separate bathroom, which was a plus. Good hostel. Elevator could be improved, since both of them werent working when we got there. I would definitely go back though..the staff was friendly.

Casa Gracia is a hostel on one of the most popular districts of Barcelona. You are able to reach the most popular attractions by walking. I would have given 4 star for Casa Gracia if I had not faced a very unpleasant event during our stay. When we reached the hostel and entered our room, we have seen that it... More

Very affordable price for a standard room with breakfast of 80 EUR. We got 2 single beds put together as a double bed. Room was neat but extremely small. Open shelving for a few clothes to hang. Lighting was good. High ceiling. Decor was clean. Air conditioning and heating was good. Beds were firm and comfortable. Housekeeping was excellent. No... More

Well, this was my fist trip to Europe and this was the first place I stayed and also first experience of hostel. Overall it was nice. Why I rated this as average, there is no specif thing I will swear by and also not much to complain, except from the fact the place is little far from La Rambla street,... More

Couldnt really ask for anything more especially at the price you are paying. Incredible location and has all the basic essentials e.g kitchen, social rooms, dinning area, good showers and clean bathrooms and bedrooms! Staff are always available at reception to help and you honestly meet some amazing people there :) would definitely come back !!

One of the best hostel I've ever been, beautiful place, stylish decoration, comfy, convenient, clean... The hostel in itself was perfect. The beds were comfortable. You have clean towels and sheets furnished. The girl at the reception was nice. The Christmas decoration and Christmas tree were lovely. The location is very central and close to everything (restaurants, bars, shops, bus... More

Staying in Gracia

Neighborhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the center, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theater that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
