I gave up on my friend's continuous insisting and booked this hostel. Frankly speaking, the word 'hostel' behind the name made me skirmish inside over my selection of this place since I hadn't had any hostel stays' experience in a new continent/country. The place is bang on Passeig de Gracia- Barcelona's very own Champs Elysees, a cakewalk to reach- connected... More

Great location. Gorgeous old building. Nice decor. Very much a young travellers/party vibe. Very impressive free breakfast and generally good facilities. Staff often too busy to help or just plain unhelpful. Concierge never available. Our room could have been cleaner and had a window facing an inner courtyard. We had some problems with dust getting in our room from nearby... More

We had a twin room with a private bathroom, the beds were so close together it would have suited double bed better, the room was basic and clean. There was a group of friends in the two rooms next to us and they were quite loud. The heating was on all the time as it was considered cold, being from... More

Three of us visited Barcelona for a football match. We chose this hotel on price and location and were prepared for a "hostel" experience. We were pleasantly surprised by the standard of decor and although the room was a bit crowded with three single beds it served our purpose well. The room was well decorated and spotless, the bathroom was... More

The hostel accommodated a stag party of 14 blokes with no fuss at all. Excellent showers, spacious rooms and comfy beds. Very friendly staff - even at 5am when I came in from a night out having lost my hotel key. A replacement was provided with no fuss. Just disappointed I didn't make it to the (reportedly) excellent breakfast. However... More
