Stayed for 9 nights over easter in the Casa Gracia apartments next door to the hostel. The reason I booked as the apartments are "serviced" by the hostel reception ie., check in/out and daily clean and free breakfast. I went with 3 kids 8,6,2. The apartment itself was great, 2 good size rooms one with a fold out sofa, Disney... More

By far the best hostel I have ever stayed at. Really good location and close to metro stop on the main line. Friendly staff. Really good homemade paella and sangria. The 6 private room was really nice and spacious. It had a nice view of the neighborhood and terrace. The 6 dorm was clean, but a little cramp. The lockers... More

My daughter and I stayed here Easter week. We had our own room with a private bathroom. The staff was always very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was great and they had free coffee and tea 24/7. We were 2 blocks from a metro stop and within walking distance of most of the main attractions. There were great restaurants within walking... More

actually I wouldnt recommend it or book this hostel ever again. way too high price for nearly no comfort, absolutely unrelaxing breakfast (first come, first serve), and loud noise from the really BIG construction site directly in the hotel! you will be disturbed from it in nearly every room from 8 to late evening. worst thing about it was that... I would highly recommend this hostel!! I have stayed at quite a few and this is by far the best. I booked a private on-suite room for one night. The room was clean, spacious, air conditioned and looked like it had been recently renovated. The location is great - very easy to get to the main attractions. All in all... More

We took an 4 bed terraced apartment for a week in march 2015, first off the apartment was incredible, 5 star standard with an outdoor terrace overlooking passeig de gracia to boot ! We found the staff all to be incredibly helpful, and super friendly . The only problem was that during our stay manitenace work was ongoing which meant... More

I was here with a group of teenage students. The hostel was perfect for us. First of all it has comfortable modern rooms with great bathrooms. The breakfast is plentiful, with many choices, and several coffee machines that are at your disposal at all times. There is ample lounge space. There is a security guard who minds the place at... Casa Gracia hostel is a great place to stay. Friendly, well located (as two ladies we both felt safe in the Gracia area). The interior is vintage/shabby chic/ bohemian, clean and the staff friendly and helpful. There is a more than adequate choice of breakfast to suit all tastes and they serve a meal in the evenings for 9 euro.... More

Casa Gracia is a lovely place located close to a nice neighborhood called "Gracia" and at the same time you are close to buses, metros and tourist bus that they bring you in less than 10 minutes in old center of the city. Everything reachable by foot! They help you in anything you could need. They're close, friendly people, like... More

Staying in Gracia

Neighborhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the center, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theater that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
