Excellent location! Beautiful building. Lovely, welcoming and helpful staff. Simple and yummy breakfast with a beautiful place to sit and wake up in Barcelona. I'd definitely recommend here and I'll be staying here next time I'm in Barc.

This is the first hostel I've ever stayed in and to be honest it's better than some hotels I've been to. There's free breakfast and dinner is only 9 euros (including a salad, main meal and a drink). It's really close to Gaudi's architecture and not far from other sights. You can either walk or get the metro. I definitely... More

We adored staying here. We booked Casa Gracia after looking through lots of websites and this came up "most popular" and "number one" on every site. There were 3 of us and we booked a private triple room with a private bathroom for 3 nights. It was great value at €66 a night so only €22 each per night! So... More

Good price, complementary breakfast with ham, free flow of coffee from coffee machines, varieties of juices, helpful and energetic staff, free city walking tour for 2 hours - Sadly we got to know about it during check out. Walking distance to Casa Mila, Casa Batllo, branded shops and further down to Placa Catalunya and most importantly Mango - my fav... More

I stayed at Casa Gracia for 3 nights with a friend of mine in a private room with our own bathroom. The room was pretty small, but it is a hostel, after all! The bathroom was bigger than most hotel bathrooms, and the whole place was clean. The breakfast, which was included, was delicious (fresh juice, fresh bread, chorizo, nutella).... More

When booking a room at Casa Gracia you must keep in mind it is a hostel. We got a bit seduced by the pictures and the place is indeed beautiful, but also very very noisy (you basically hear all the other guests regardless of which floor you're staying at). Being a hostel it has a young target group which (if... More

I stayed here with a friend for two nights last May and had an amazing time here! Good location, rooms were clean, staff was welcoming, served good breakfasts and dinner. The overall atmosphere was fantastic - everyone was really friendly and we met lots of interesting people, both traveling solo and in groups. Would recommend to anyone visiting Barcelona and... I planned my 3-days trip to Barcelona a long time ago. I wanted to show Barcelona to my husband, so I made prepaid booking for Superior Double room with Spa Bath. It happened that I came alone. Reception girl was nice and polite (they are all nice and polite indeed). She asked me if I'll stay alone and gave me... More

Stayed 5 nights. Very good hostel and good location. Very clean. No real kitchen available to you. Really nice hostel. You won't be disappointed. Close to metro and bus stops. Breakfast was OK, but coffee was out of machine.

The staff were absolutely friendly, gave us some great pointers for great local food. You couldn't ask for a better location in Barcelona, close enough to the action but enough distance for some peace and quiet. But to top it all off, the amazing staff left my mum a surprise in our room for her birthday! A bottle of champagne... More

Staying in Gracia

Neighborhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the center, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theater that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
